Who really cares unless you're doing some pre-competition water manipulation stuff? At least I've never bothered to even count how much sodium I'm eating, should I?

I'm not freaking out about it because I feel like as long as I am hitting my macros and fiber intake I should not worry about the rest. I just feel like some of the frozen food I have is garbage but meh. I know everything I intake cuz of MFP. Track everything everyday otherwise I would not know or care. Before I had these foods my levels were around 2-3k mg.

Sodium is pretty over-demonized, in the same way sat fats are. Really not a concern at all.

ETA: might be a concern if you have high blood pressure - but even that is debatable

Since I'm not a big fan of straps
or gloves, I was thinking about buying a lb of chalk and seeing if I like that. Anyone use chalk while deadlifting?

Cuz I heard straps are still better to use grip wise.

Come at me bro. I'm on holidays. Now is your chance.

tbh, I think if you're gaining weight you'll be able to add the 10 or 15lbs or whatever you need to your bench fairly easily.

That said, I'm getting all the red lights ready if that ass even looks like it comes off the bench.

Also, I do db incline press at like 60 degree angle (Total guess. It's hole 15 on the adjustable bench )... am I doing it really wrong?

Also, if straps don't remove the grip component from your deadlift you are doing it totally wrong. No question. ...although I'm not entirely sure how you can do straps totally wrong.

It just hits shoulders more. So if you want hit shoulders hard during your chest workout, there you go. Maybe as a bridge to shoulder work. Nice and warmed up. I lower the angle because I like to seperate my shoulder and chest work.

That would be me. I think I wrap them the wrong way.

Sweeet, now is the ideal time to make dem gainz and make some bench PRs. Problem is that even eating 3k calories I'm still not gaining that much weird but meh just started eating that much. Just trying to find that sweet calories amount where I'm gaining muscle and only little bit of fat.

Hahaha oh you are not the only one that will try to red flag me, we all know that. I know you mean that in a playful but serious way. Goto my video of 255x2 bench, would I have been red flagged there? serious question.

Yeah exactly, that's why I don't like that. I might as well be doing a shoulder press at that point.

Rough chest and arms session. I normally have a rest day in between so I was pretty sore. I still attempted new PRs for top 4 in bench, did not go well. Will upload vid soon.

Friday- Chest and arms

First time ever attempting 275, even tho my form had leaks I was still proud of my progress. I never attempted this bench when I was 184 lbs about 10 months ago. I must say I was pretty dam sore from yesterday's workout. Lats and bi's specifically from all the pull ups and other exercises. My plan is to attempt this again when I can rep 225 by myself. This means being able to do 225x8-10.

Bench:
225x2
245x2
255x1
265x1
275x1 (ass alert)
225x5

DB incline:
75x8
80x8 x2

Cable crossovers:
20x15
25x15
30x15

BB curls: full ROM
95x4
75x8 x2

Cable kickbacks:
10x15/15
15x15/15 x2

Rope Pushdowns: x2 resistance
42.5x12 x2

DB standing extensions:
65x8
55x12

Macros:
2,985 calories

357g carbs
240g protein

Thanks bro. I think I will get it soon but not gonna try it right away because I'm not a fan of maxing out too much.

Strapping up correctly:

Bench definitely redlighted, but you still prob have the best bench:body weight in H&F so

You can see the thing I talked about in loco's log when you lift off yourself. Doesn't look like you tuck your shoulder blades too much to start with (you should), but you can see how your arms go way up to get the bar out. Funny nitting about technique when your 1RM is like 60 lbs above mine but there you go.

Just noticed you added to your post. Yeah def redflag for sure man, I was annoyed at that but I knew it was happening the lift. My only concern was getting the bar up cuz that chit was madd heavy lol. I consider it a max out but I will feel better when I do it officially.

Don't care how much the difference is between our lifts, I value good advice. actually that never crossed my mind but very Interesting. I will check out your post, thanks.
