You look basically like the antithesis of a powerlifter. All the small muscles that don't do a whole lot look relatively overdeveloped (ie forearms, biceps, upper chest) and the large functional muscles (back and core and I assume posterior chain) are completely underdeveloped by comparison.

1.) Bolded: Lol
2.) God being natural sounds horrible. 8 weeks and this is actually pretty good progress.
3.) This log supports my theory of "less is more", even for the naturolo. You still need more leg+back volume though, but this is good progress in both relative and absolute terms compared to somebody like busto who is objectively training much harder and yet gaining less, even taking into account their relative levels of advancement. Maybe the EV strategy of doing as little as possible is correct. It's surely "more correct" than too much.

I think I'm gonna shave a few sets off my leg+back workouts and you add some to yours

So yeah, I'm going to continually come here to talk ****. But this is good progress for 8 weeks, broah.

Creatine is the only answer to my back problem

1) lolol next 8 weeks will be better which should be the end of my cut (hopefully)
2) one day I will cross over to the dark side
3) LOL too little? my workouts are around hour and a half minimum only exception is upper body hypertrophy day which is around 1 hour. I am DL 3x/week and squatting 2x/week and leg pressing 2x/week. Leg day mayyyy be little exercises but its alot of sets mang. What would you do differently about my programming in all seriousness?

That is actually kind of surprising that it takes you 1.5 hours to get through most of these!! Arms are about 40-45 mins for me, chest ~50, shoulders 55, legs or back 90.

What would I change?

DL 1x/wk, sq 2x/wk but do higher volume of squats per session, add in a lot more sets of leg extensions+hamstring curls b/c they take no mental energy and you need 30-60 secs rest btw sets at max, add in much higher upper body pulling volume and reduce pushing volume. Some type of weekly progression scheme for big 3(4 if you want to, your call. Heavy OHP is kind of whatever imo. I just do it for novelty/coolness, don't think its necessary). Ditch the "power/hypertrophy" division. 3 Upper/2 Lower probably still makes sense for you since your lower body needs to catch up, but you'd probably also be fine just brosplitting like I am. I think you'd do well to do Front squat+dl+lower accessories on one of the lower days and then just backsquat+lower accessories on the other.

I think what Syndr0m is doing right now for his main lifts would be promising for you, then just do whatever you want for accessories afterword. It's not very time consuming, it allows for both autoregulation and logical periodized progression. I do it myself if juggernaut method isn't my thing.

- struggling with weight loss but still increased weights this week for a few lifts. Likely another big caloric drop. Must have been burning ALOT of cals during PT at academy.
- new goal of getting my lower body lifts to pass loco off so he will quit squatting and save his back.

Cardio
(2) 400kcal runs
(2) HIIT 12 mins

- Coach wasn't too thrilled about weight but it's gotta be due to new TDEE numbers
- Cut calories by 20c/5f so around 120 calories and added another HIIT session. Wouldn't be surprised if I lose 1.5 lbs this week in addition to helping my dad with construction work outside on my off days. Sweat like a whore in church.

- high carb day had work 6p-2a and actually had to force myself to eat dinner at midnight cause my appetite was so suppressed at work. When I'm patrolling I get like this sometimes. I'll say I'll eat after one more stop, I'll eat after I write my report. Maybe I'm the only one lol but I wanna be on the road as much as possible.

Leo talk
Spoiler:
- first time I witnessed some woman TOTALLY freak out on me during a stop. Took me by surprise to be totally honest lmao. I must admit, it was dark and I pulled a dik move by hiding out doing radar with my lights totally off parked on street facing oncoming traffic that enter into my town. She was doing 40 in 25 then proceeded to tailgate car in front of her. As soon as she lowered her window she raised her voice at me. Finally retrieved her docs slowly going through them to rustle her jimmies Bc she wanted to know the reason for her stop. Told her she was speeding and she started yelling denying it saying she was going exactly 25 mph cause she got a ticket b4. Said I would be back to decide what to do after reviewing her docs and stepped away. Decided to give her speeding ticket and verbal for tailgating since that is a whopping 5 points. Upon me handed her citation over, she freaked out. She was crying and clenched both her fists and started hitting her steering wheel what appeared to be her hardest. I wanted to say dafuq is wrong with you lady. I could have searched her for my own safety but just wanted to get the hell out of there. She then peeled off and her front tire almost hit my feet. I was professional the whole time but dam she was a whack job. Maybe she couldn't afford to pay the ticket or had something going on in her life but either way that's no way to treat a police officer.

Cops that primarily act as the fund raising arm for their municipality typically aren't brimming with self awareness; I'm sure the story was one million percent not a troll.

Looks okay on my phone, but video is really small.

Good to see you squatting more than a plate and a half. Seems like you were squatting that for the last year. This is a key exercise for you, I can see it. There is warfare in your mind every rep. Right there is the difference between rent a cop and detective. Between detective and sergeant. Those leg extensions are comfortable but they will keep you enforcing meters. The squats are going to be hard, you will have to leave your comfort zone. And as the weights get hard, there is zero doubt the messenger of misery is coming after you. What will keep you in the game? Conquer squats and get three plates on there and you are on your way to becoming sergeant my friend. You stay on 185x5 and leg extensions and you will be a rent a cop at Kid Colin's parties.

Imagine that next time you want to puss out.

Ded. You're right on 2 accounts, been squatting 175/185 the last year and mind phucking myself. As much fun and food KC's parties bring, it's time to move on to 3 plate life. Gimme a year.
