Look it's the Internet, it may not be true. But if it was, good ol' #1EV has the stick/gun/armor/aviators!

I enjoy the inevitability of EV running out of the intellectual horsepower for trading insults and moving straight towards the "u gay 4 me br0?" part of his mental rolodex; as easy to predict as N1 ignoring actual good advice or MLY overreacting to female posters.

As much as I enjoy the insults, what is even more entertaining is you not stating I'm wrong. So indeed u gay4meBr0, go to the basement and do the deed.

Doesn't matter. You do not want this **** to ever come up. You are working a job that deals with dangerous people who are likely to hold a grudge. What happens if you write up a legit report about you defending yourself and then the inmate finds this and claims he's the one you were talking about even though it's total bs?

Seems far fetched and it's unlikely to happen, but if it did...

Not to mention someone you work with could get upset at you, find that and try to get you fired or something. You have a lot of your personal info tied to this account, I would not post **** like that.

It is incredibly easy to find people online these days. Sensei got doxxed or something by some dude likely in India, Alan whatever in OOT god doxxed and pushed down a set of stairs in China. It's really easy, I'd be careful posting stuff like that.

Spoke to my coach tonight and he wants me to run Phat varation program with rpe no less than 8 and no higher than 9. He wants me to stay away from percentages due to my previous injury. Told me my regular back squat and DL days are over with. All front squats and DL with trap bar and do a ton of warm ups and rolling out before hand.

While I do admit hes a bit conversative, hes a professional. He's got his DPT. I dont see why I would ever swap him out.

Why are you doing 5s instead of 8s?

Also, definitely try the leg curls before squats thing; I was close minded about it at first, but it definitely just makes the movement feel better overall. I think most bros have pre-exhaust wrong; if you do leg curls first, you end up recruiting more quads because hams are already fatigued, it's not like the other way around.

Just laziness and wanting to up the weight. Yeah just feel it's silly to do before compound movement. I'll give it a try next time around.

Thats not conservative, thats insanely aggressive. A 5 day program with 15-20 sets per day, with no sets below RPE 8? I would die.

To be fair, he did say "conversative"...which would not be affected by the intensity or frequency of programming.

Ibav,

And it presumes EV is even capable of accurately judging his true RPE, which based on recent history seems doubtful.

EV,

What does your coach think about you running a program given to you by a bodybuilder from a poker-centric internet forum? What does he think about the fact that you never run his programs as written? What does he think of your progress over the last five years?

Whats RPE? rest needed per exercise?

He said program matters little at this stage. I got injured around 4/20 then aggravated it a month later doing 275x5 rack pulls like a dumbass. He agrees i should stay away from regular squats unless im trying to compete then its not worth the risk. He stated I suffered from a sprained disc, it is common but no matter how I recover there will always be scar tissue stuck in there. Its best to stick to front squats and for DL's only do trap bar DL/ rack pulls. He helps me for free so its more like I hit him up for help, he knows not to bother with nutrition as I know what to do.

Essentially he was saying stay away from regular squats/ regular DLs/ RDL's (when i told him my 1rm he said okay good thats fine- 1rm estimate was 185 lbs) and stay away from %'s programming. Stick to a program that offers power days n hypertrophy so you arent always lifting heavy and less rick of injury while it can still be valuable for aesthetics.

How is it remotely possible you don't know what RPE means, much less how it can be applied to training?

Usually I'd insert my standard "get it fused" joke here, but grunchingly going to advise verifying with paid medical types and consulting specialists who'll likely want to run some "tests". NM if already done and he's just repeating what your doctor has said, but good lord please do not settle for some dude's guess when you can actually find out for sure.
