What weight do you think you'd compete in physique at?

One thing that strikes me, which I wish I had, is that you don't look that different pumped post workout vs first thing in the morning.

I think he'd have to drop at least 10lbs more, maybe 15, to hit the stage for physique.

i have the ~same-ish (I think) issue FWIW.
Ie I literally can't squat to depth with toes pointing forward or slightly out (femurs too long relative to tibias, I believe), and my toes (and knees) start to twist out in an attempt to let me gain depth / keep back more vertical.

So what I do is make the effective femur length shorter by pre-emptively pointing toes out a whole bunch more than most people do.
For me, toes pointed out @ 45-60 degrees is where squatting feels the best (shoulder width stance or even more narrow) and allows me to go ATG.

No probs reaching dept with toes totally forward, but alas I think we are discovering that toes way out is definitely the way to go and our former hero Kstarr was wrong all along. It just seems to solve a lot of problems for people; I'm able to stay way more upright and get better leg recruitment just from less lower back engagement. Noticed weight on the bar acutely increased from shorter ROM and more glute involvement too.

I personally find it more difficult to control knee cave vs with toes more forward, but I don't know if this is universal to everyone.

Do these arguments also apply to front squats/deadlifts/sumo deadlifts?

I used to be completed shredded at 158/159. I'm not close to that anymore. I don't plan to compete. My back has no development and I'm not big enough. Maybe in 5 years might give it a go but meh don't really care.

FS yes, DL IDK. I definitely noticed way better deadlift upright posture from a wide stance, but toes out with the stance held constant didn't seem to help me much. ymmv.

There is a difference between someone who doesn't feel comfortable with toes pointing forward and my condition I am trying to describe to you. When I start with toes forward my left toes remains the same and my right toes twist out to such a degree I have to re-adjust myself while squatting. It's just a terrible feeling. Something is up.

Non-fitness related:

Just got back from that pokerstars event, got to meet some of the pros. Had a good time. Tournament then open bar on the house. I gotta say, Liv is really down to earth and enjoyed her company. Barry didn't have much to say, was hard to connect with him. Assuming he wanted to get the **** outta there since he busted out of the tournament super early. Liv made me laugh when we were about to take a pic, she goes wait, over here over here its better lighting. I laughed and said yeah its all about that anabolic lighting. Pretty sure she had no clue what I said, but went with it.

8 months from 161->185lbs is about the pace I'd do it if I were going to gain 24lbs . Hoping you're successful with strength gainz this time around.

Thanks buddy. Really need to focus on trying to gain some size. Otherwise I'll fall into the gain 10-15 lbs cut stage where I look the same imo.

Yeah I think you're the ultra rare exception in that you have a lot of trouble gaining the actual size and strength, but you're fairly good at not losing a large amount of LBM while you cut (for a naturolo, of course). For the vast majority, it's the opposite problem where we can gain size/strength easily when we try, but holding onto it while getting leaner is hard.
