That woman probably took some sort of pre-workout. I've seen people do that.

Maybe I missed it at the time, but why the F would you want to go with some awful vegetable/plant protein powder in the first place? There are plenty of tastier options...like every other protein powder on the market.

Also, scoop of powder (prework out/creatine/etc...) is super standard to just dump in your mouth and chase with water.

Um, Holliday suggested the plant protein...I'm not really sure why though. lol It was pretty gross but I drank half which put me over my protein goal.

Should I be having preworkout/creatine?

I can't imagine lettuce was what made it that bad, but maybe! Imma experiment this weekend, maybe get a diff protein powder as G4S suggested.

So last night did not work out as planned at all!

My 45 minute commute took a little over 2 hours. Grrrrrr First stop was salon, and no I didn't have an appointment. I told her what I wanted and she said it would an hour wait. After spending 2 hours commuting after work, I said no thanks.

Went home, ate a small meal and hit the gym. I had a really great workout though. Best since that knee issue, which is doing great btw. So maybe it all worked out for the good, except I'll have unkempt (hairy and overgrown) eyebrows and chipped nails for tonight's game. Imma get it all done tomorrow....hopefully.

Treadmill - 35 min, 3.5 incline, 3.0 mph
Hip Flexor stretches
Rolling in the deep
A **** load of weightbearing exercises that I'll attach separately, cuz I have to do it via tapatalk which I hate.

Food numbers look great yesterday. Tried the pea-protein shiat and it is indeed shiat, and it looks like it too!

Calories 1178
Protein 129G (ahem, I am a rockstar)
Fat 51g (yes I am a rockstar)
Carbs 44g (what bee-you-tee-ful numbers)

Drinking that shiat may have been almost worth it to hit these numbers. Having no time to snack helps too.

Nah, not necessary.

If you're gonna use a protein powder, I always suggest vanilla so you can flavor however you want with powders, fruit, etc...

Food looking good

I was going to ask the same thing. Not only is pea protein gross, it lacks some essential amino acids that whey and eggs and meats contain. Most whey powders taste pretty good.

For your viewing pleasure!

Thursday:

dinner!
little cardio!

Oh! I was telling the marketing coordinator, who is also a yoga instructor (keep it in your pants Holliday) about my yucky smoothie and she gave me one to try. It's pretty good! Advocare.

Waste of carbs imo. Looks like just whey protein + sugar. Whey isolate + a banana would be better.

Whey made her sick and lactose intolerant and she's trying to hit protein goals. I didn't tell her to find the nastiest stuff!

I guess she's stuck on the toilet now then after downing that shake with whey concentrate and milk protein isolate.

OMFG not to sound obtuse, but I didn't even look at the carbs! I just saw protein on the front.

I don't think I'm lactose intolerant but I did get sick after the whey shakes...though that was at the gym, when I wasn't used to working out hard.

The calories are a dead giveaway. A scoop of protein isolate is around 100-120kcal, pretty much all from protein.

I know, right? She's gorgeous and like the nicest person I've ever met. Must be all the meditation that keeps her even keeled. Everyone else around here is ready to throw down. lol

Hey, just noticed there's even a toe shot for Syndrom!

I'm very lactose intolerant. I can see why you would mix Josie & I up. We look so much alike.
