Look who's back again!
Yes, the ***** is back! Here's what I've been up to health-wise.
I went from going gangbusters at lifting heavy, and somehow started adding more and more cardio. It' got me a little slimmer I think, and showed off the muscled I'd built via WIM.
I've been consistently going to the gym 5 days per week, not logging much about it, and consistently doing less and less lifting while doing more and more cardio.
I feel very meh. Not strong like I used to, not as full of energy as I used to and muscles are still there but not quite as defined.
The good news is I made it through the winter, my hardest time for fitness, without gaining weight, eating well enough and staying active.
I averaged 8-10k steps every day for Dec, Jan, and Feb, while also swimming 1-2 days per week and lifting a couple of days per week. Not increasing the weights much anymore but trying to stay where i was.
Meh.
I'm ready to jump back in to lifting and I think it's going to be better because I've been working on my form and know slightly wtf I'm doing.
For the last couple of weeks I was contemplating coming on here and asking for advice on how to get a new program. Thank you Renton for the previous one! However, I thin I'm going to do the Gorilla Program.
There's an outline of what G4S does on his thread, along with a jaw dropping photo. Dear God that man is built. Holy moly! He ain't eye candy, he's an Eye Candy Store! And Mama's window shopping!
Gorilla Program it is!
Foodwise, I've been slacking on my protein. First step being stopping the logging of it. If I don't know how little protein I'm eating, I don't have to concern myself with it. So yeah, been keeping my head in the sand with regard to protein.
Other than that, I'm doing pretty consistently well foodwise. Had a couple treats over the past month or 2 but nothing crazy and nothing that resulted in a gain.
After not drinking for probably 8 months, I had a drink while playing poker, and then got **** faced drunk at a st paddy's party. Blah, but I puked it all up so no weight gain.
I know this is a long post. Grrrrrrilla Program starts on Saturday.
G4S you're so hottttt, hot damn, call the po-lice and the fireman!
