Physiologically can you, not, can I bench every week and still fit in?

I'm guessing you can, I'll try it and find out pretty quickly I guess.

i think improving your bench leads to an improved press more than the other way around. i've made decent gains in the press over the last 6 months and stagnated at bench, and that's training both lifts.

I was contemplating dropping press for a while as well, but I don't know if i could bench every single workout and not stall really fast.

Ok I think this log is going to take a pretty major turn for the lame over the next couple months.

I really sick of being stalled out on my lifts, and I'm also sick of my gut.

I just going to lift heavy, eat moar brotein, and try to get down to 180 BW over the next couple months. This will get me in a really good place top start the year and set myself up for the success I like to see.

I'll try to make up for the lameness of my log by making funny videos. Shrug.

I lifted today:

Squat: 250x3x5

Whatver

Bench:

195x4
185x5
155x10

Whatever

Some random chin failing

Anyway, hopefully I can get down to 180 and feel much better about my stomach.

Losing weight is easy once you get over the old bad habits and dont get overly ambitious. Eat tons of protein and keep lifting, with as much light cardio as you can stand. EZ game

Figured I should just drop in to say that the trademark JF squat stomp has become part of my routine, and is super useful for getting the bar sat right.

Yup, I've done this a few times, not as successful as you have but I've learned a lot and think I will at least get close to reaching my goals

I realized I am going to blow my diet because ZOMG all you can eat shrimp at red lobster!!!!!!

But that will be the only cheating I plan on and I will hopefully do some swimming or something before hand.

Noobs. You're doing it wrong. Crush the shrimp before the workout, then prepare to smash weights a couple hours later. Imo

195 at 6'1 is still kind of skinny, I'm surprised you feel the need to drop 15. I'm heavier and shorter than you and not much stronger and even I feel a little on the skinny side sometimes.

Good luck though i guess, since you've dieted before hopefully it'll be easier this time.

195 at 6'1 is not skinny, I'd say 6'1 and 170 would be skinny. Your average college safety is probably 6'1 200.

You waffle between your goals way too much, and as a result you've missed out on a ton of progress. Pick something and commit to it 100% for at least 4 months. If you want to get leaner you cannot be upset when there are days that you can't squat 225.
