Looks like the form degrades slightly on the press through the set, specifically your elbows falling behind the bar. Pretty hard to tell due to angle, guess it's hard for you to film from a side angle in your garage, heh.

Sick job on the belt notches

Lol I wondered if someone was going to bump this.

I have been slacking on lifting, but I have been doing it. I just haven't been updating.

Will start updating again tomorrow. And I will be in be in vegas in less than 3 weeks yay!

It's not as interesting post to your log when cutting, right? That's how I feel at least, it's like "so i lifted some weights today, the same as last time and the time before that". Hurray.

Yeah, you know what, I think that's exactly right. The weight I'm lifting isn't as exciting to go hurry and update in my log. Zomg! Benched my BW today! Or whatever.

I plan on lifting tomorrow but it's just such weak sauce numbers that it's like ugh I suck. But I look and feel much better as I am succeeding in my diet.

And I'll be in Vegas June 3-10 or however long it takes.

As promised, I did workout today and I worked up a sweat in the Danja Zown. I've been slacking on lifting so I'm back to the grind today.

I went on a bit of a bender this weekend, comsuming a ton of alcohol (probably at least 5 or 6 times as much as i've drank all month combined) but it was fun so w/e.

I've decided on what I'm going to do for programming until I reach my target weight of 180. It's pretty boring and weak sauce, but there are a few reasons I've chosen it, mainly psychological.

Workout A
Squat 225x3x5
Bench 165x3x5
Deadlift: 275x1x5

Workout B
Squat 225x3x5
Press 110x3x5
Power Cleaners: 155x3x3

And workout 2x a week, so each workout twice. I'll up the volume and weight quite a bit when I start eating more after I reach my target weight, and I will also start incorporating the O-lifts then.

So today was Workout A

Workout A
Squat 225x3x5

Notes: Pretty easy, no sign of being close to failure. My form was actually pretty good, too. I slight good morninged some reps, but it was very mild compared to what I do sometimes. Felt good.

Bench 165x3x5

Notes: same as squats. Pretty easy, but strenuous enough to feel good. Probably couldn't have done more than 1 or 2 reps on each set. For was good and all that.

Deadlift: 275x1x5

Notes: The hardest of my lifts today, it was more like 5 singles instead of a set of 5. I got all the reps up without being close to failure, though. Since I won't be increasing th weight on this, I'll be working on my speed and hopefully be doing one set of 5 in a month or so.

Really easy overall, it should be quite a bit tougher when I'm down to 180.

what's your waist? where you wear pants not something ridic like around or above the navel.

You can tell you've lost a TON of weight just from looking at your face. It's ridic, good work.

Need bigger guns, LDO . And what Miles said - I typically track waist measurements when dieting much more frequently than weight.

I just looked at my pants. I've been wearing a size 38 to work for a long time, but they're wayyy too loose now. I found some pants that I got as a gift about 4 years ago that didn't fit me that I decided to keep in case they ever did fit. I tried em on and they fit perfect. They are very comfortable at size 34.

I'll worry about hypertrophy and bigger gunz when I am stronger

so your waist was probably 38 when you weighed 220?

Size 34 fits well, been wearing 38s to work. I hope you work in the Def Jam mailroom.

Yes.

I think I weighed 220 for 4-5 months and had to buy some new pants while I was at that weight. 38s fit comfortably then, but now I have to wear a belt or they just fall off.

I am planning on buying a bunch of new clothes pretty soon (I need to anyway) and I don't really plan on being a fat 220 ever again so I'll shop accordingly.

Also, I think that my waist is bigger (fatter) for my height/weight/age etc. because of my genetic pre-disposition to fat storage around my waist coupled with the fact that I sucked for a long time with nutrient timing.

I imagine most people that are 6' 1", 190 and have been lifting for 6+ months would have a smaller waist than 34. Maybe?

i was just wondering how i outweighed the first pic by 40lb. i was thinking your waist may have been even bigger than 37/38. but my waist is bigger than yours was and my hips/thighs are ridic gargantuan so it makes sense. 34" at 6'1" 190 makes sense.

When I started my cut for the summer I was 6'1, 190 and had a 33.5" waist (though, around the navel at the widest part, not where I naturally wear my pants). I'm now 181 and 32" at that part, if that helps. If I were to guess, around where I wear my pants, I'm probably 30-31".

That sounds about right. I think a solid goal for me is to be able to fit into 32s comfortably.

Alright, just finished my Workout B

Kinda sucked but I made it. Whatever

I also added in some light kettle bell stuff for warm ups and did some chin variations afterwards.

I decided I am going to do an RFL for the last 10 days of the month, starting tomorrow. It won't be very hard. I'll decide what I am going to do in June, though I am spending 1/3 of the month in Vegas so I probably won't have any idea.

Shweet.

I lifted today. It was fine. Squatting kinda sucked but w/e.

Then I drank a 1/2 gallon of FF nesquick. Yum

I also got my new camera and was playing around with it while lifting. Might upload some action pics latter.

That is all.

Anyone want to guess BF% here just for fun? I am trying to get better at it.

Here's my wild guess:

Spoiler:
27%->20%?

If you're going to guess don't read the spoilers, too easy to be influenced.

No, 1 point off on the after guess. 1 higher. But I subconsciously add "+/- 2%" to all BF guess anyway so, the same for all practical purposes.

I think I mentioned that I started off at around 28% BF and am down to about 20%. I agree with my scale and guessing. Good guesses imo.

I'm such a diet noob. I've been doing good with my RFL on non lifting days (super high protein very little cals) but isn't it ok to drink a bunch of FF chocolate milk after lifting even doing an RFL? F I thought it was I suck
