Yes.
I think I weighed 220 for 4-5 months and had to buy some new pants while I was at that weight. 38s fit comfortably then, but now I have to wear a belt or they just fall off.
I am planning on buying a bunch of new clothes pretty soon (I need to anyway) and I don't really plan on being a fat 220 ever again so I'll shop accordingly.
Also, I think that my waist is bigger (fatter) for my height/weight/age etc. because of my genetic pre-disposition to fat storage around my waist coupled with the fact that I sucked for a long time with nutrient timing.
I imagine most people that are 6' 1", 190 and have been lifting for 6+ months would have a smaller waist than 34. Maybe?
