Hmm on further research it seems like wine is the way to go.

I want to make sure my job/career is in a steady place before I burden myself with a $1500+ per month expense.

So, sparkling wine is like 90’cals per glass. Kinda went ham last night. I’ll post the logs soon, they’re not good

I think drinking problem is heavily defined by how much it interferes with life function, and in my case, I would say not really to not at all. But it is an unhealthy crutch

I had 3 glasses last night and then my gf came over and wanted beer so i had two michelobs

Tuesday 6/19-

Breakfast:
16 oz strawberries - 151 calories
Handful of peanuts - 160 calories

Lunch:
Had PF changs catered at work. I took pics, I have no idea how to log these:



Then went back and got a helping of salad but my coworker made fun of me for taking pics of pf changs so i didnt take the last pic. It was just a bunch of salad, which had some really light dressing. I think it was at most 1000 calories.

Dinner:

3-4 glasses of champagne - 270-360 calories
2 1 michelob ultra - 95 calories

1 chicken breast, thigh, leg: 500 calories

Total:
1810 calories from food

365-455 calories from alcohol

Not good. Only walked 20 minutes as well.

You're trying to lose weight but can't because you won't cut out booze so it seems like it's interfering a little. Also, IDGAF how much you drink, but I think it's been more than an unhealthy crutch.

It’s been 3 days, we’ll see, i agree it’s unhealthy but i dont believe I have a problem - it’s been discussed a lot in therapy but I think I’ll go back to it next meeting

Weds 6/20 Food Log:

Late breakfast:
Leftover chicken fried rice + handful of peanuts I threw on:



PF changs lists one serving as 14 oz and 606 calories. I'd say that's easily half that. I'll log it at 300 + 100 for the peanuts.

400 calories


Lunch: Sushi Boy - California roll and salmon avocado roll:

myfitnesspal has the california roll at 420 calories. Has the salmon avocado roll at 610 calories. Seems REALLY high to me, but I'll log it anyway.



1030 calories (this can't be right can it?)

Dinner:

2 slices wheat bread - 140 calories
1/2 tbspn honey mustard, ~25 calories (threw in 5 extra)
Chicken thigh, leg, wing: 350 calories

515 calories


Snacks:
Baby carrots, 8oz - 90 calories (what the **** they're carrots)
Red Pepper Hummus: 6 tablespoons (i don't think even this much) - 210 calories

300 calories

Total: 2245 calories

Seems really high to me for how little I ate and what I ate. I am kind of suspicious of those rolls.

yeah, sushi always seems way too high n MFP. I mean even with rice and avacado, its not that much rice and its not that much avacado. And if its that high, why arent Japanese all ****ing obese?

Today-

No breakfast

Company lunch trip - had salmon and pork fried rice. Lowest cal thing on the menu, 900 calories



The sprouts were supposed to come with bacon and i told them to hold that Jmakin, more like Jbacon (weight loss/fitness log)

No idea what to do for dinner. I’m hungry-ish but i could try to call it for today.

I really want to grab a good deficit day while i can, because the last few were poor, and i wasnt that hungry when i got home. But then I was, and got 6 crunchy value tacos from del, so I am at 1680 for today, still good

I think I have got myself in a potentially reasonable weekday rhythm.

get home, eat, go for a walk. Usually by that time it's 8pm and I can either watch tv or game until I get tired enough to sleep.

Smoking weed AFTER eating is a much better strategy, I learned. No munchies or gorging.

The trick is going to be how to occupy my weekends - drinking has been a major part of that for so long. A major problem is I can't just sit down and do an activity for any amount of time without alcohol or weed to keep me interested. Weed actually doesn't even really help because it makes me disinterested in things and kind of listless. Maybe smoking the wrong kind. I do like to read while high though.

No because it affects my gameplay negatively and I get frustrated. Especially hearthstone.

Very, very rarely i’ll play a little better. But drinking is no problem.
