My back is not good from this week, made throwing quite rough. Walking and sitting hurts right now. Probably go to Chiro tomorrow and get some new xrays done too.

The production company that did the filming, Ultimate Heavy Athletics, apparently went under due to lack of funding.
The last time i think ESPN showed anything Highland games related was when they did the 50 States in 50 Days thing, 2005 iirc. They came and filmed and interviewed us at the Wisconsin Game. I have the footage on VHS somewhere, maybe I'll try to convert it and post it if I have some time.

The St. Louis games are supposed to be bringing like 10 of us Pros out there in February for a few day to Logan College so they can do some testing on us for some publication they are working on.
Just enough to get my swole on. Even standing up holding 135 hurt my back some, so I'm gonna take it easy for the next two weeks and just get the blood flowing during my training.
Upon coming back, I doubt I will deadlift every week as I'm not sure I can take that anymore. Probably will change it up to deadlifitng twice per month and squatting twice per month. I've done that in past years and it has worked well.

The deads were a test to see how my back was feeling. I had planned on only going up to 405. It felt so easy that I went 405-495-585. I didn't even feel my back on the 495, but on the 585 it let me know that it's still not quite 100%. No damage or anything, but I'm sore from it today. I'm also happy how light and easy it was, although it should be. I think only deadlifting 2x per month will def be the way to go this offseason.
The cheat curls were just trying them out. As anticipated, and just like with power cleans, my form is lolbad.
