They are a forever thing. ACE Inhibitor, Beta Blocker, Blood Thinner, Statin - all forever.

My uncertainty is basically, what is the optimal HR I should be shooting for for max cardiac benefits? I'm hoping the doc has an answer or at least a more specific guideline. Because if I can get the same benefits at 100bpm than I can at 120bpm because of the drugs, then I'd rather take the more efficient (read: easier) path.

That was basically phase 2 of the rehab I figure. First one was press a set at 225 and don't die. Check. Now I've been back on the bench with the same results. Life is good.
