Half Way To Happiness Half Way To Happiness

My doctor got me in with a Neurologist on Monday , yay!

I also got a call from a company I have applied for several times and would just pretty much be my dream job. I met the wife of the director of engineering and chatted with her while I was in training a few weeks ago. She sent my resume to her husband. I am beyond excited.

I thought you were going to get mother/daughter portraits done. I suppose you can get both for 1K. Silly Alobar.

My boss is in Houston for the Astros/Red Sox game. Are you near Houston?

Go Red Sox!

We already did the mother daughter portraits. It was a 50's theme and really fun.

I'm about 4hrs North of Houston.

50’s theme sounds so cute. I follow a couple of “healthy living” women who come from Texas and they’re always having family portraits done. I wonder if it’s a Texas thing. Def not a Boston thing. W the themes too, they esp love when some flowers are in bloom..I forget the name but they’re purple. Bluebells?

How much weight were you squatting with when you hurt your neck? I’m going to attempt it this weekend, w much less weight I’m sure.

Blue bonnets!
10-18-2018 , 09:00 PM
Yes bluebonnets! They are so beautiful. They typically grow with Indian paintbrushes seen in this picture. This is a pic from Google, but this is exactly what it looks like in my neck of the woods when they are in bloom. OMG, it is just the best feeling to go driving on the oil tops to spot them. Bluebonnets family portraits are a must here and everyone does it every year.

There are a lot of themed family portraits, for almost every holiday. I didn't think this was a Texas thing and thought everyone did it.

Oh, I think I was lifting 185-190....maybe 225lbs

Really focus on your fo before you move up in weight. Pulling your shoulder blades together was a suggestion from someone here that did wonders for me.

I'm going to bed early tonight....my daughter is already out and I haven't slept well the last couple of days.

This is the meditation I did last night. Really like this one.

I had 2 Noosa yogurts, scholoskys pepperoni pizza, 1/4 of my chilli and 2tbs of sour cream. I'll log them tomorrow for calories...I'm zonked

Cit, that is exactly what I will attempt tomorrow. Thank you.

Cit,
Noted. But, I was just sharing some exciting news.

M seriously, log first, then eat. That way you're not relying on memory.
Also I thought you were going to post pics of everything you ate for group input on accurate calorie counting?
10-19-2018 , 01:11 PM
Yes, I will start taking pics. The homemade burritos I had this morning would have been good to do as I am just guestimating on those.
10-19-2018 , 01:12 PM
U get your point. Thanks Cit.
10-19-2018 , 06:47 PM
I ate this much of these....
10-19-2018 , 06:56 PM
At least 750kcal consumed there.

If you're not trying, which you're obv not, may as well finish 'em off. No donut left behind.

I mean I literally couldn't leave the rest of those donuts, so I can credit MLY with that.
10-19-2018 , 11:10 PM
Glad I don't like donuts especially much…

Was this blasphemy?
10-19-2018 , 11:32 PM
There is no way those few bites were 750cals.
That was a pumpkin and cheesecake muffin.
A lot of emotions going on today. I told myself I could just buy those and have a bite out of each and not just gorge .
10-20-2018 , 12:15 AM
Good job!
10-20-2018 , 12:21 AM
Honestly it looks like you ate a very small percentage of the chocolate donut, but half of the other 2 donuts are gone. So whatever 1 pretty calorific donut is worth is probably what you had. I doubt that's 750 calories but I'm not really sure how many calories is in a donut actually. I mean the muffin thing you ate probably less than half of.
10-20-2018 , 12:35 AM
I'll just wait for loco to come in and tell us how many calories that is.
10-20-2018 , 01:13 AM
Let me remind you that this isn't the weight loss stage, only the practicing logging stage. Everyone calm down

Wow you really are an addict. I used to do the same with packs of cigarettes when I was failing to quit smoking and lying to myself. It was also very expensive.
