Good luck, M! Would reiterate my suggestion, and that of others here, that for anything that you don't know 100% the calorie count (for example a packaged dinner), take a pic and post it here with your logs. It will help with the accuracy of the "guesstimations."

Please do. Whenever you post a food log, and a day or two later say "oh btw this isn't what I ate, but was just a proxy for something else which is what I actually ate", I die a little on the inside (most recently, three posts up). Really try to make an honest effort of doing accurate food logs for a while. A number of posters ITT will be glad to help.

I checked the Olive Garden menu, and to say there were better choices for someone ostensibly dieting would be an understatement.

The calories weren't right in spark people for the bellini so I had to adjust the serving size.

I thought I was doing good with Olive Garden. I got full off of the salad.amd took my meal to go. The plan was to eat half at lunch and half at dinner. We ended up going to a BBQ joint at lunch for my partners last day.

I went shopping on Monday and got eggs, yogurt, berries, sardines, and chicken for the week. I've managed to eat the yogurt :/

No more eating out for the rest of the week!

The Olive Garden nutrition information. The app isn't very user friendly when creating new entries so I he really just use what someone has already entered.

The only decent choices you've made are for breakfast.

This includes, btw, your choice to ban Rapini.

What you're choosing makes you appear that you're not even trying. I suspect portion sizes are way off, plus you're logging after the fact and probably omitting stuff you don't remember.

You're lucky enough that all you have to do is snap a pic of every bite you eat and someone else will calculate the nutrition for you.

I think MLYLT should make a short term goal (like 14k calories for a week) and try and meet that goal. Simple and no propbet required.

I didn't see what Rapini wrote but I'll take your word for it. My opinion is based on his actions historically. Just because it's in the explicit rules of the forum, doesn't mean it was the right decision.

Yes, she's going to travel for work all the time. I get having cravings and caving in to them. I really do, but that would entail trying for starters and then caving in. Ordering what she's ordering isn't trying. Logging it a day after the fact, is a start but she isn't going to remember everything even if she believes that she does.

Sardines travel very well.

Man, I was really surprised by how calorically dense pesto is.

Basically you take cheese that's about 60% calories from fat, add pine nuts that are 80%, then finish it off with 100% fat (olive oil). Then add that to the pasta. Pasta tastes like shiet but when you add three coats of fat, all of a sudden it's tasty. I can make a piece of dog turd just as tasty with that much fat.

But yeah, that pesto recipe is brutal. Beats out all dressings except mayo.

If you wanted to test your theory, I'm relatively certain we could scare up an H&F sponsored GoFundMe for you to chow down on a pesto smothered Great Dane log.

Also, "pasta tastes like ****" is essentially just you saying you're both unable to cook and have peasant level taste in restaurants.

So recent happenings:

I went to the doctor today because my ear had been numb on the inside for a couple of months and the side of my face/lips/tongue started going numb over the past week. I thought it might be fluid in my ears, it wasn't and he is sending me for an MRI scan of my brain.
I had a rash on my arms and my lymph nodes we're swollen and hurting a couple of months ago too. I seriously thought I had aids and got all the std blood test done...all clear.
The pain is also back in my shoulder after the neurotomy and I'm having one done on my lower back on Monday.

Going crazy 2 years ago, getting super depressed in addition to all this other crap, there has to be something wrong.

Guys, whenever you criticize her, you're just feeding the beast. The point of the thread is to gather attention, the more negative the better, but any type will do. Posts like Rapini's and Josie's are the beast's favorite morsels.

It's pretty much impossible to not eat a strawberry cream pie when you get both of your heart's desires for doing so: 1) the experience of eating a delicious pie and 2) the "punishment" of your 2p2 peers for eating said pie. Win-win for her.

The only way to starve the beast is to not reply. Which is why I hesitated to even make this post. But if it can convince a few of you to band together in abstaining from this thread, it was worth it.
