Monte, jfc, of course I don't slather my potatoes in mayo.

we're not talking about a 30 calorie pat of butter or dollop of sour cream, but about using a potato as a bowl for sour cream and cheese so you don't feel so bad for just eating an actual bowl full of yummy fatness.

Mustard for mayo is weight loss 101. I can't even think of a situation in which it doesn't work. This week I threw out the mayo in my fridge when I realised it was a 2017 best before date.

Are you aware of what words mean? A few T of mayo would be at least 180 calories (and dear God, let's not all sperg out about what "a few" means). She could have 4 T of sour cream and 0.5 T of butter for the same amount of calories. An ounce of cheese (~120 calories) would be a ton for a single potato (assuming she doesn't buy the liquid by the carafe from that Mexican restaurant). In addition to being at worst calorie neutral in comparison, all of these options are orders of magnitude tastier than that disgusting monstrosity you proposed. Just take the L and move on.

Got the Cuban chicken ready. I was going to grill it, but my grill is a soupy charcoal mess from the rain. I'm using chicken thighs and went with the 1/2 cup of lime juice because limes are awesome with chicken.

I did good at the grocery store for about $75 including $15 of berries. These containers really work in keeping berries and veggies fresh.

Before and after pics of one potato, topped once.

M, I think that a lot of people have disengaged because they just don't think you're even trying at the moment.

If you were logging at least there's some effort shown, but no logs, no spreadsheets, no workout details, and no weighing - it just looks like you don't care, so why would anybody else care?

If you can't be arsed to do even the most basic things to lose weight then why would people waste their time with advice that will likely be ignored?

Sorry to be a bit harsh, but that's the way I see it.

MLY,

I hope you like the chicken. Next time, make these black beans to have with them.

At the moment I'm just trying not to gain anymore weight and I'm waiting to figure out what the heck is going on with my health. Yes, I need to start logging everyday.

I loved the chicken and made burritos out of it with flat wheat roll up bread and Greek yogurt. The beans will go great with it.

I mean, you could . . . but the recipe is basically zero effort (especially if you have a small food processor for the sofrito prep), so why wouldn't you do it? It makes a ton of beans that go great with many other dishes you could have throughout the week, and they freeze well too -- not much downside that I can see. Not to mention they taste better!

Happy to hear it!

Sun 10/28 log:
I have a lot of frozen fruit in the freezer and had forgotten how yummy/snow cone like and filling the fruit smoothies are. I generally just add water, but I put some pineapple juice in today.

After the smoothies and chicken, I feel completely stuffed today for 1575cals.

I weighed out the chicken and measured everything.

Confirmed. Cooking from dried beans flavors the water in a way that canned beans can't.

I’m a little embarrassed to say I’ve never cooked w dried beans before.

Seemed like too much effort. Guess I’ll pick some up w next shopping trip.

Thanks.

I did some not so relaxing yoga tonight with my kid screaming and crying that she didn't get the good mat followed by an tantrum for losing her tablet for 3 days.

Did some hard have poses and stretching.

I'm taking my daughter to the park and going to walk for a while today.
I have this nagging feeling that I have something to do after work that I'm forgetting about. I've been running around like crazy the last few weeks. I even forgot to put my shoes on one morning and had to go back home and get them.
10-29-2018 , 08:14 PM
Dinner tonight. My hija is having the last of the chicken in a burrito, I might finish what she doesn't eat of that too.

Reminder to myself that going out to eat and the excuse that I don't have time to cook is absolute bull****. It took me 15mins to make us both smoothies and dinner.

Had no idea what albumen was (Google says it's egg whites)

Anyway,

I generally just set the stove to 6 and throw it in a pan for 5 mins and it always turns out like that. I'll lower the heat next time.

Those berries were frozen, I've got a couple of bags in the freezer from months ago. I'm going to pick up some more mixed frozen fruit tomorrow.

No, I got to work with just my socks on.

Pretty sure not having any feeling in your feet is a symptom of diabetes.

MLYLT,

Good to see some weigh-ins, not exactly a common sight in here!

Let's see some daily logs and daily weigh-ins for a while. Before you start logging consistently this is all a magic show.
