Why do u screen shot mfp? Just post the macros for the day.

I know this will sound defensive and isn't a good look. I also know you are just asking a simple question with no ill intent, but jeeze it seems like someone has a problem with anyway I try to log.

I post just macros... What I ate isn't shown and can't be right

I post what I ate....no app log with calories, no pictures, can't be right

I post screen shots of my log...why don't you just post macros

I post my spreadsheet....why are you doing that, just log calories

MLYLT,

You should actively be disregarding anything EV says and strive to do the opposite. You two are about as polar opposite on the diet/food spectrum as is possible.

You should absolutely, definitely, post actual logs, meaning quantities, calories, etc. The reason for that is that you are really bad at logging accurately (sometimes through laziness/not caring, sometimes through magic little lies, sometimes through bad luck), and people can't help you correct these things if it's just a random list of words and numbers that may or may not be made up.

You should sometimes post pictures of what you eat, again so people can help you get a more accurate log. This does not mean pictures of bananas, it (mostly) means pictures of the numerous fast food meals you eat where you are then too lazy to find an accurate way of logging it and just go with some generic burger from some other fast food chain (just as an example). Basically, if you're not sure how to log something accurately, a picture and a description of what you ate helps us help you find something more appropriate to log.

Macros are automatically posted when you post an accurate log. That's fine/whatever, don't worry about it.

The spreadsheet is accurate when you consistently post accurate logs. That's fine/whatever, don't worry about it.

Accurate logs, accurate logs, accurate logs.

Meh, I was just feeling tired and bitchy last night.

I don’t really follow your log but I’m assuming your letting these guys get to you. Take it with a grain of salt, they know every detail about nutrition but they are fat lol. In any case my point was that the food u eat I care nothing about just about macros. As long as you log accurately and consistently you will never fail. Now if you rather eat more calories while “eating healthy” and complain about weight/ nothing you can do I would say log it all because you are wrong/ only macros matter in that particular instance.

Yeah, I get it, thank you. I was just feeling moody last night.

no logs in a week.
11-15-2018 , 12:49 AM
This week has been okay. I cooked the Hala chicken on Sunday and prepped for the week. 4oz rice+5oz chicken.

Monday:
3xnoosa yogurt
4oz rice+5oz chicken
Homemade pizza

Tues:
2xnoosa yogurt
1-chicken quasidilla

Wed:
1xnoosa yogurt
Pepperoni pizza
4oz rice+5oz chicken

Haven't heard much from my neurologist other than I have a vitamin D deficiency, she wants to re-test my blood for the other stuff that was high next week,my dye contrast MRI is scheduled for Monday, and she would be discussing my blood test results with me in my next appointment the week after next. Her front desk girl called to give me all this information....ugghh.

Yesterday both my arms+hands+left side of my face and head were numb/tingling all day and night, then I was having the pain under my left underarm+boob again. Today just numb hands and pain in my armpit. Baaah....it's frustrating to not know what the heck is going on. I'm hoping it's just this vitamin D and maybe I will be fine in a few days.

I have pretty much put off buying a house or entertaining any job offers and I feel incredibly relieved. I'm still going for my PE liscense and have a lot of things to still complete for that, but I'm not feeling very motivated to get stuff done. I just feel beat down when I even think about studying for the exam.

Fabian's sage advice falling on deaf ears again I see.

Gin,

I'm as shocked as you are.

MLYLT, you've got support whatever it is.
11-15-2018 , 01:47 PM
Thanks Plaay.

I something remember seeing any post about sage.

This is with the yogurt. I didn't like the flavor of the yogurt, possibly ruined it with Splenda instead of sugar. I also added additional spices to the rice as I didn't like the flavor of it either.

Have they tested you for B12? And other blood-cell (RBC) mineral levels? Doesn't sound like vitamin D symptoms, though you should obv supplement that, I was also vit D deficient. What about pinched cervical spine nerves from disc issues? Are they doing a neck MRI too? I would also definitely look into something called Thoracic Outlet Syndrome, it fits some of your symptoms.
I did the neurology thing this year also... Sucks thinking you have MS/ALS or some crazy ****.
Hope you don't!
11-15-2018 , 05:21 PM
B12 was good. Not sure about the minerals but RBC was high.
They are doing a neck MRI in conjunction with the brain one on Monday.
Yeah, it sucks not knowing.
11-15-2018 , 05:25 PM
Oh I mean i.e Magnesium RBC test instead of Magnesium Serum.

Ha ha ha, sick burn!

FWIW, I think Noosa is delicious but for cutting the macros on those YQs or Icelandic yogurts are too much better to pass up.

Good luck with the MRI Monday. I do wish to advise you to *not* get a disk of it at the time because I think looking at it before reviewing it with the doctor would be a huge source of unnecessary anxiety and probably just confusing. I'm not saying you don't have the self-control to get a disk and not look at it for over a week, but...well I guess I *am* saying that (but that no one has that self-control). The reason is MRIs are just slices taken from different angles but they never line up exactly with which view they are providing (even though they may *look like* an exact match). Anything with an irregular shape is apt to look changed even when it is not, and it is confusing sometimes even for doctors (especially with the brain). By all means have the neurologist walk you through any changes she sees and get and look at a disk after that.
11-16-2018 , 02:01 PM
Alpro soya based yogurts are superb and very low fat / sugar / calories.
11-16-2018 , 06:56 PM
Thanks Holliday. It will be really tempting to look at the disk I don't have a computer with a disk drive at home, so it will be easier to avoid looking at them.

I haven't heard of any of those yogurts. I'll look em up to see where I can buy some.

To paraphrase Al Einstein, if you weigh more than you did 12 months ago, you've got to try a different approach. I'll give you the same advice I did back then--buy a nice spin bike and make it a habit of getting 20-30 and eventually as much as 60 minutes 5x per week while watching TV/movies/surfing the web. The endorphin rush and improved sleep are enough reason, but the weightloss benefits are what you really are after here. Add the fact that spinning will vastly improve your overall health and longevity make it a no-brainer. Despite your shaky results, you fundamentally have the commitment and positive attitude required to achieve your goals, but you need to go about it a different way than you have been. Good luck.
11-20-2018 , 10:09 PM
Buying a spin bike isn't a bad idea, as soon as Alobar sends me my money I'll get one.

Had the dye contrast MRI and CT scans.
The finding were:
-Gliosis
-RT Superior and inferior arteries are hypoplastic
-a streaky enhancement on my right neck muscle from C4 to C7.…says could be secondary to strain or myositis

No stroke, no leisons on my spinal cord, no bulged disk...yay. Still doesn't explain why my freaking face is going numb.
11-20-2018 , 10:50 PM
Pay up Alobar!
11-20-2018 , 11:57 PM
Think the gliosis will have to be analyzed. Let's hope for the best!

The weight thing naturally has gone secondary now.
