I'll submit 180x5 on bench press as a filler to get that TBD out of there. Also I easily closed the #1 CoC with each of my hands yesterday on the drive home but currently that's not a category.

Also milesdyson looks like he'd be fun to lift with.

This seems like it would be a good basis for a category since a lot of people have these. Maybe max reps #1, max reps #2?

I guess the fact that some people have grippers that are similar but not identical to CoC might cause problems.

Your Power Clean will be higher than your Hang Clean so it's fair IMO. I think it would be like someone front squatting 400 lbs and saying "Does this count for back squats" and the answer being irrelevant.

not for an elite level weightlifter. High hang clean is v slightly higher from everything I've seen/heard.

I hang full cleaned 100kg 3 times yday but I guess that doesn't count for anything.

I just remembered I PC'd the same amount from the floor today too so it doesn't matter.

AJ, that doesn't make sense to me. If a hang clean is higher, why don't o-lifters just dl the bar, then hang clean. Unless there's a rule that prevents this I don't see why they wouldn't...

We can make that a list. I just figured most guys on starting strength etc. do power cleans but not many do c&j. Those that full squat clean usually put it overhead as well.

Yeah. Now that's warm again, I just started doing clean and jerks and snatch variations before my lower sessions on my porch. Gotta put that Eleiko to use.

I agree that variations might not be worth it anyway. We can't have a column for Romanian Deadlits, pulls to knees, high pulls, pl vs bb bench, etc- just gets dumb. Big lifts. Clean and Jerk/Snatch is good. But if I hang clean and jerk a PR and can't get on the board for C&J... well I'll probably lie =)

hang clean higher than powerclean... not full clean. I've thought about that before and there is a a rule, "one continuous motion" or something. But I doubt many if any weightlifters could clean more weight from the hang than the floor anyway. Maybe some quad dominant freak who is absurdly fast under the bar idk

9/1- 5x235 on squat. Also SIX pullups messing around while trying to figure out how the hell to do a muscle up. I gotta get in those tables while I still can =).
