It's a bit hard to spot, your lumbar looks fine to me, even if there's a bit of butt wink.

Your knees though:

Notice how they're moving forwards throughout the movement. Ideally they should move forwards for the first 1/3 or so, then stay there while you move your hips around them like a hinge.

Yes, you are correct. I'll try to come up with a cue to help with this and get some more video. Thanks for the pointers.

You can try the terrible useful block of wood mentioned in SS. Or wall squats.

First time doing pull-throughs. Felt pretty good. Anyone see anything wrong?

Squat 255lbx5 - Looks like I'm losing lower back tightness and my chest is not staying up towards the bottom.

Press 90lbx5 - Video title is wrong...Anyways, I took a slightly wider grip this time and it felt much better, still not sure if I'm getting the "get under the bar" concept right.

has nothing to do with legs. your chest is dropping and you're dumping it forward. pretty much your whole back ends up rounding.

edit: @aiden.

Thanks for taking a look KC. I'll drop the weight and keep working on that.

What's your head position like? Try looking forward/slightly up if you're currently looking down.

Kinda forward/kinda down. There are mirrors in front of the squat rack and I get distracted, I should really squat the other way facing out into the gym.

I'll get my head up more this time around, hopefully videos to come but the gym is always a zoo on a monday night.

This is actually kinda brilliant. I'll probably try it today. I'll look like a weirdo since it'll probably be the first time anyone has seen someone squatting while facing the gym. The mirrors suck for keeping my gaze, though.

Don't really have the time to do a full form analysis, maybe tonight, but I checked out OHP set #1 real quick because of your post in the LC thread.

One thing that immediately stood out to me was your grip/arm position. You can very very clearly see that at the bottom of the lift your arms are pointed out. Narrow the grip so that your forearms are vertical at the bottom.

deadlifts aren't great. Just overall pretty sloppy. You spend zero time setting up correctly. Do you own SS? Read it again. A little improvement in your setup and you'll have a good strong pull.

So I did this for the first time today.

It was great! I hated being distracted by myself so close to the mirror.

I put the hooks (not sure what they're called- those hooklike things you put the bar on) on the other side and had zero problems. In fact, the squats were definitely easier!

I highly recommend doing it... especially if you're distracted by yourself in the mirror.
