One excuse I've heard for dudes is that on online dating sites plenty of women filter by height, so the idea is that they can fudge a bit to get past the screening and then if/when they meet in person, she will find him desirable enough that a couple of inches of height won't matter.

Not relevant here, of course. But I hear that one a lot.

What do you think he is claiming? It sounded to me like he was saying in terms of obesity USA > Europe > Asia (with carveouts for pacific islander and such). Sounds like you're on the same page.

never understood this either, I'm 6'2" and had a 5'9" gf who told everyone she was 5'10" and I was 6'3" - i would immediately correct my height but not hers cause you could explain away her mistaking me but not her own - she never understood why i didn't just add an inch "cause everyone else does it"
Obesity, in a statistical sense, is almost always calculated via BMI, which may or may not be accurate. But in general, its a great population based tool. Regardless 1 out of 3 or one of out 4 obese people isn't nearly what you claim.

On the height, yeah. It is very weird outside the US. Who ****ing knows.

The height thing has existed for decades (like back to olds into the 50s/60s). I also feel the arbitrary filtering is kinda lol and explains a lot of cope. See the MLY dick angle argument. Which was and is, obviously absurd.

There is a lot of cope among women in USA#18972912 who can't understand that men just want put their weenus in someone who makes their weenus hard and don't really care about their "professional success" or whatever **** makes them feel good about being a mid-late 30s spinster. Then again being a completely vapid moron is not really something that anyone is into.

Honestly America might be a worse dating environment than dating solely British women in the UK.

.
I understand how you can believe this false notion as men do almost everything in life to try to attract/attain a woman. While men might choose their career and try to be successful to attract a woman, men aren't even slightly crossing a women's mind when she is. It's hard for you to grasp, but womens every waking thought isn't about men. Women care about their professional success so they can get the **** away from men lol. Its more like, just give us dick and get the **** out of the way of our success.

Very true. The US is a very large place with lots of regional diversity. (I can imagine being in NYC and dating at 35 is vastly different than flyover states.)

Dinner last couple of nights.
Made Cornish hen and box stuffing tonight. I've got potato+mushrooms, Broccoli, and squash left over from yesterday that I will snack on later tonight.

I've gained 5lbs since starting this thread back up. Gotta start logging calories. I've been on a beer cheese and bread binge, but have managed to stop drinking every single night. Confirmed that low HRV is directly linked to drinking.

Started getting factor meals and they are really good. I'll do these for a couple of months for the ease of counting cals and tastiness.

Still haven't been to the gym. I'm kinda swamped right now. Been doing a side project nights/weekends for a guy I worked with a couple of years ago and will have to be flying to TN a lot of weekends in the coming months. He owns a condo with a roof top pool in Mexico; we have an unspoken agreement that I'll get to use it whenever so I gotta finish this out for the next 6months while avoiding getting fatter.

Hope you’re back on track.

Couldn’t help but think of your Mexico medical procedure with the recent news.

Same.

Jeez. If I had to do it over again, I wouldn't. My heart goes out to the people missing and dead now.

I put on my lifting tights today and look way worse in them now than when I was squating regularly. Yeah I lost weight with the surgery, but I also lost weight and looked good lifting weights and felt better about it.....without risking my life.

Yes, I'm sorta semi on track. Still doing volleyball once a week and eating the Factor meals with eggs for breakfast.
My leaks are coffee creamer, occasional alcohol, and not lifting now. It's crunch time getting drawings out for my side gig and I gotta be there weekends for a couple of months while concrete is being cut and equipment placed, but should ease up by the summer and I can start a lifting routine.

Just transitioned to 1 day a week in the office this week! I have a brand new magical life. This company is literally doing every ****ing thing right. Can't believe I fell into this position by pure dumb luck with the manager just happening on my linked in profile and me making a decision against my gut jnstinct to accept it. I've got some pretty goddam low life luck and am feeling like I'm in an alternate universe now. The work is boring, but im getting energized with my side gig.....everything is working out.

"just give us dick and get the **** out of the way of our success."

Perhaps not the greatest feminist slogan I've heard, but it'll do, pig, it'll do.
