So anyway.....
I'm getting used to the new schedule, actually get to work from home today and tomorrow due to weather. I'm really tired after the first week and still fighting an infection though. Getting up at the crack of dawn and driving an hr to and from work in aweful traffic ****ing sucks and I'm over it after having done it the past two years. Hopefully get to permanently move to a hybrid schedule very soon.

This company and job are a pleasant surprise. My primary team has a Chinese guy, Japanese woman, Indian guy, 3 Canadian guys, and another woman that is about to start and the company had a women's thing today about how they are trying to have women in all meetings and increase the number of women engineers. Wtf....they didn't tell me anything about the diversity and support for women....I would have snap accepted and almost ****ing turned the offer down. AnD, they just give everyone an entire week off in December(the Canadians get 3 free weeks throughout the year). No trying to make it the entire year trying not to use 10 vacation days being sick. I don't have to work with a bunch of old white men that hate women, get a flexible schedule, and get to take a actual/real vacation. I would have taken 50k less for this. These ****ing Canadians don't know how good they got it.

So is this a Canadian Company? Yes women engineers are rare. 10% When I went to school, (civil eng. graduated 1989) we had 8 women in a class of 78.

So at the risk of incurring lolco wrath. Singapore is basically Chinese x Malay (which is a chinese fusion). You can get basically anything you want, and if you follow general recommendations it boils down to what you prefer. Hawker Chan is a soya chicken while Tian Tian is traditional chicken rice. Both options are great. Also, nothing is really worth dragging around the city for, there is excellent food everywhere. Kaya toast is the only thing I've had that was unique to Singapore, def get it with the coffee in a baggie. Get a chili crab or black pepper crab. Hit up Din Tai Fung. Visit any random mall and eat whatever random noodles/rice/etc. All the hawker stalls are basically the same. Get an oyster omelet and some chicken rice (this depends heavily on personal preference, all the popular ones are great). There are a bunch of roti prantha places as well. Basically eat all the normie poor people stuff and you'll be fine. I've never been to any fine dining place in Singapore so can't really review that. (Not sure I want a deconstructed chili crab on a blini puff.) Maybe pass the OG Singapore Sling at Raffles since they're like $25 and its a conveyor belt toursit destination? (Hotel is beautiful tho.) Def do a Sunday brunch, they're all great. Skipping those in major metros in SE Asia is a big time n00b move. Just avoid normie white people food and you pretty much can't go wrong.

Let me help you understand some basic truths given that you are less intelligent than me:

1) You are clueless about cooking and lack the necessary grasp of vocab to communicate on the subject. You can't even LARP about it without giving away you're lying. If MLY wanted a meat replacement there are a variety of better options instead of brutalizing tofu. (Which it appears you are unable to taste, likely due to mangled taste buds.)
2) You believe all vegetarians belong to your weird cult-like ideology. In reality every vegetarian I've ever met understands what an apple core is other you and the insipid cum dumpster you pass off for a wife.
3) The point on working on vegan meat replacements was obviously lost on you, so let me explain. People like you don't make meaningful changes in the world. Partly due to your intelligence and partly because you believe a variety of weird **** that no one cares about. Most people working on meat replacements actually eat meat and will likely continue to do so. People who have to stop their raw vegan diet because it was killing them don't even have a seat at the table.
4) You thinking I'm white actually jibes with my thesis that you're very stupid.

These are all things that are real and I encourage you to come to grips with reality. Although, I do find the neckbearding about the difference between being wealthy v rich, coming from someone vastly less successful than myself, rather entertaining. Keep it up!

1 - Pressing tofu isn't brutalizing it. I don't even eat tofu, so calm down, Nancy.

2 - Still no core in that pic

3 - Raw vegan diet while maintaining over 100 miles per week of running and 3 days per week of lifting. Quite far from having to stop it because it was "killing" me. I stopped because it's hard to get the calories in, but I did get them in. My panels were on point the entire time.

4 - I think you're white because you posted a video on another account of yours doing a monster squat of something like 155 pounds, and you looked white as Snow White, but maybe you really are not Thremp.

1) Strawman.
2) Gaslighting.
3) Lets go through some numbers using some previously mentioned "facts" that you shared. You said you consumed 2500 calories (which is probably low for a petite, middle aged woman doing that level of activity) and a pound of veggies contains 100 cals. If fruits/vege averages 100 cals per pound, you'd need to consume 12.5lbs of this per day to have any sort of sustainable consumption (assuming they constitute the "bulk" of your caloric intake). Obviously "raw" doesn't really mean raw since these sort of people are idiots involved in a cult instead of sensible diets. But that 12.5lbs a day goes up if you're larger than 100lbs woman or running faster than 15min per mile. (Or have a job that isn't napping and watching TV.) Obviously you're lying. You didn't get your cals in while eating this many vegetables. Its like the 7lbs larp, complete bullshit.
4) Nothing better than another outright lie. You didn't "think" anything. You just made a bunch of **** up.

1 - Nope.

2 - Nope.

3 - Lol. Where did I ever say I eat only 2500 calories on average? Find the post. 2+2 has a very good search function so you should have no trouble. I have posted screenshot logs before. Since you're constantly swinging from my johnson, you should have seen them. You apparently also know dick about calories of vegetarian foods since you can't even ballpark calories in common fruits and vegetables, and you suck at simple math since I told you like 10 posts ago how many calories are roughly in 7 pounds of veggies. Hint: it wasn't 700.

4 - Nope. You posted on the Thremp screen name all about the bioavailability of protein in meat and how it's superior and uber-important in bodybuilding and powerlifting and I thought to myself this meathead must be the size of Gorilla4Sale, and then up came a video posted by you months later and it was just a twink in his messy filthy garage barely able squat one plate, lmao.

Thanks. That's helpful and pretty much exactly what I would have done the last time I was there. Good to know that some things haven't changed.

I'm gonna limit myself to roti parata three times max. I could eat that **** every day. I'm not a huge fan of the Malay stuff but might just get some for the nostalgia factor.

I like, but don't love Hainanese chicken rice. However, it's one thing I'm sure my kids and their donk unsophisticated palates will find unobjectionable. I'd probably go to Little India for a fishhead curry, but it (and everything else there) would be too spicy for them.

Yeah, eating apples is tough business - must be lying about it.

The only liar here is you. As for your squat video, well, when was your original account active? It was then.

Yeah, it's Canadian and everyone speaks French. This is the most "woke" company I've ever encounterd. They now have a policy that salary employees are not allowed to work more than 46hrs-4 weeks in a row and a guy on my Texas team openly talks about his schedule for therapy in meetings.

I actually did a project for a Canadian company a while back and had an amazing woman Engineer with that company working along side me in Texas. She would always tell me about how great it was....I should have started looking for a Canadian or foreign company back then.

Alright guys, stop the bickering.

Can someone give me a couple of meal ideas for the week?
I want to to learn to cook something new. I don't like kale or coconut curry, but other than those I'm open to trying absolutely anything.

Just got home from the grocery store and have everything to make this. I'm also going to try to make Greek yogurt+flour tortillas. Got some discounted, pre-seasoned chicken thighs, so we'll see how it comes out.

Made an asain stir fry with ground turkey tonight. It looks...... interesting lol

The first two weeks of work I ate McDonald's and Sonic every single morning for breakfast. That was an old 300lb habbit that I am not getting back into. Got everything to make egg sandwiches for breakfast. I would do oatmeal, but I just can't stand to eat anything sweet in the mornings nowadays.
To begin with I get to work from home on Tues and Thursdays. This gives me a lot more time for cooking and less having to meal prep+eat the same food everyday. I did manage to meal prep all of my lunches the last two weeks.
