Yep, getting high can make relatively mundane physical activities very fascinating and fun. While it would hurt your peak potential results, I found that getting high before lifting or doing cardio causes me to workout longer and harder than I otherwise would, and more often. Especially if I've got some good tunes pounding away.

I crack up at the wood lockers at my globogym, not even good wood just manufactured crap. Would take me 30 seconds to hammer through.

Empty soda can, pair of scissors for the lock makes less noise.

I had buddies in high school that would take acid and work out.

Working out high tends to improve my focus during the lift. I'm a fan. The one time I did LSD my legs completely gave out, so I'd imagine having 300 pounds on my back while tripping would be a good way to commit suicide.

Nice but rednecky father and son waited patiently for me to finish my squats so they could use the power rack for...wrist curls with just the bar. About 87 sets.

There wasn't really anything for them to not rack when they left, but they did the best they could, leaving a bench sticking out in everyone's way with the bar perched on it.

Anyone seen this before where you lay down under the smith machine bar and do one or two leg presses? It helped the chick was stunning of course...

Yeah I can see the 'longer and harder' but IMO it would make you weaker.

Oh yeah, working out longer and harder does tend to make you weaker.

I just saw this video of a girl doing something like this. At the 6:15 mark.

Yesterday at gym there was this Shark Sandwhich sized Asian bro who would pull up his shorts to squat, despite the fact they were loose fitting and no way interfering with his ROM. So basically he just wanted us to see the goods. I feel like if you are going to go that route you might as well pull a Snitch and just wear short shorts. Selectively pulling up the shorts just seems too blatant and attention whorish.

Also, there was this pretty tiny bro who mush have been 170 tops (probably closer to 160) who was squatting doing reps with 315 like it was nothing. He had a super wide sumo stance and wasn't getting to parallel, so the ROM was pretty short, but still throwing around 3 plates is throwing around 3 plates.

Saw a guy use the smith machine for planks. Thought this was a pretty good idea really.

Like he put the bar on the small of his back to apply weight? I can't decide if it's terrible or genius.

Its good if your core is too weak to do them on the floor. That's also good for pushups if you're weak at those.

I dunno.
Likely...?

I also read it "I came in a workout" first.

Maybe it's me who's high.
