When I deadlifted yesterday at least 7 out 8 racks were being used for squats or deadlifts at all times during my sets. There were 5 deadlifting at the same time which I don't think I've ever seen and all the squats I saw were legit depth(though not a ton of weight). It was so glorious.

I hope that's not spreading too much cause most gyms definitely can't sustain that many legit lifters

I've had to wait or come back later for both the cage and the platform lately, and always for someone doing legit work. Sometimes even hot tatted up women. But then I usually wait and watch obv.

Two bros at my gym just busted out speed deadlifts @ 360lbs, zerchers @450. Might be time for me to read Country Roads thread more closely. Can't compete without dem roids.

I'd say that in the evenings at my gym there are anywhere from 2-4 oly lifters, 3-5 squatters, and a couple of deadlifters. In addition to the DYEL bros using machines and benching and what not. It gets crowded but you learn to manage.

we have 2 racks and 2 cages, 1 oly platform, and a rack on the oly platform (that is really only used by the oly lifters).

mbn, we have 1 rack, 0 cages, 3 benches, 1 "platform" aka 2 pieces of rubber you can kind of drop weights onto. only redeeming factors are there are 2 eleiko bars and wait times are actually rarely that bad.

I can't use chalk, have no bumper plates & no platform, but there is almost always a free bar between the 1 rack and 2 cages. For now, that is enough.

I bitched out again and didn't take a photo of the Sunday beast chick in action but today not only did she squat 3 plates she then followed up by going up to 345 on deadlifts, 3-4 rep sets

Her leg days have to be close to 2 hours b/c I was showered and out the door and she was still lifting and i'm usually in/out around 1.5 hrs

People at my (university!) gym are seriously so dumb that the incline bench is now set up like this:



It's hard to see but even the window sill has a piece broken off while being two feet behind the bench

Non-messy chalk if your gym doesn't allow it, doesnt even appear on bar. Only used it once but helped with bent over rows.
