Met someone doing SS at the gym today, and he said his lifts were starting to stall.

I asked him what his 3x5 max was and he's like "330, but I think I can add 5 lbs for a little longer"

I felt like a huge bitch doing 175 after that =/

Also there was an amazingly hot girl doing proper front skwats, and I think all the drool was affecting my grip.

i will do a 90 min curl workout. ita already planned out well, i will go there at monday evening when its full as ****. i usually go tuesday thursday and weekend like every thinking person who prefers to never wait for incline barbell bench or other stuff.
i will start by doing barbell-curls, at least 5 sets, while blobking a flat bench.
(we dont even have a squat-rack there). thatll take like 30 min.
then i will do 5 sets of bilateral cabel-curls overhead. in this position i can look thourgh the whole small alley, which is the barbell/dumbell area. i will be pumped up already and smile as if i were on an acid.
then i will do smith-machine curls and 10% ROM chin-ups with a 50kg weight-belt.
when i am finally done with that, i will do 5kg dumbell curls with "full focus" and "mind-muscle-connection" for at least 15 more minutes.

will post trip-report.
That's a lot of calories burned for zero money or pussy gained.

You gain nothing from this, even randoms on the internet will think less of you.

Haha yea, every Texas Method type log/guide I read is like "yeah, I did linear progression through 365 and then squats started to get hard so I figured to switch to intermediate programming"... wtf? I guess you do what you can though.

FWIW I believe in Practical Programming that Rippetoe says the average squat for ending SS and moving to TM is 315. So according to Rippetoe 330 and 365 would probably both pretty strong dudes and somewhat of outliers for LP.

I keep thinking posts like this will gnaw at him to come back and post under a new account. Does anyone think he quit reading 2+2 completely?

In addition to genetics, recovery etc etc, this is obv also based on Ripples' recommended food intake, which is patently silly for most people.

I checked it out a few months back and it seemed to be pretty dead, but now there's a bunch of new posts based on 2+2. I mean what the...why not start a new account? He probably couldn't help himself and would get banned within a few months though.
