No one ever asks me.

I'm going to go get a plate of chicken hearts.

100lb bench for reps might be worst brag ever. I once told I guy I hadnt worked for several summers because I had been playing online poker instead. He asked why and I said I earned more doing that than having a normal job. His response was thats impossible, I made $2K/month this summer.

That was a pretty damn bad brag but probably not as bad as benching 100lb for reps.

/thinly veiled brag about making more than $2K/month

Yeah +1 to the bench stuff, I'm smaller than downtown and wayyyy smaller than G4S and even I get the bench press stories occasionally.

I've never gotten the brags about what people bench, but I do get what do you bench a lot.

My son's 5'7" scrawny little friend (couldn't have weighed more than 125) was benching 105x5x3 a month after starting SS. He started at 75.

I assume bp is what most people talk about because it's the exercise done/heard of by most people... Specifically with all the onus put on the bp rep test at the NFL combine when in reality I'd rather see squat/ dl/clean numbers... I wonder why more teams to my knowledge don't test that

For s'n'g they should add an explosive test. Hook the guys up to those resistance bands you can use to simulate squat but measure the force with which they can explode out of the squat. Would be a good one for the linemen.

I mean putting up 100 pounds for a single is obviously a great feat of strength, but for reps? Surely he must be on cell tech hardcore.

well it seems that he's doing (trying?) some kind of hang clean jerk...but his leg movement is all wrong and he's just flinging it up.

To his credit, at least he's got the idea for a real lift, just needs instruction - or rather, needs to start somewhere simpler.
