Hope you can see it. It's the two guys on the left doing 10 lb. front + lateral raise with each arm, alternating each rep. Pretty sweet.
Speaking of sweet bro things (I assume that's the affectionate term for "meat heads" around here) those two guys I was talking about earlier that were trying to sell HGH to other people were double teaming this thing today:

As soon as one would get a few inches into his rep the other would shove it back down like a sparring partner. Lots of yelling. Weird.

so much fail at the gym yesterday. i actually took a few videos, and if it wasn't from 150 feet away, i'd post it.

donk #1: the gay guy who lost 100-150 lbs in the last year. he is doing DB bench presses with 20s. his elbows stop about 6 inches from the point where his upper forearms are parallel to the ground. he does about 4-5 sets of those, then exchanges his dumbbells for 40s and does another 4-5 sets where the weights go down about 6".

donk #2: older guys loads up the leg press machine with 8 45s, and proceeds to do several sets of 10 leg presses. gets up, adds another 6 45s, does another set. gets up, adds another 2 45s and 4 25s. at this point, he is using all the 45s and 25s on his side of the gym. the machine is setup so that the weight goes up and down at most 12". i think to myself what a crappy exercise, if you have to load it up that much in order to stress your muscles.

donk #3 (and this one takes the cake): a skinny hippie who loves to give advice to a competitive bodybuilder who works out at our gym. to start he is lying on his side on a bench, and is doing some sort of DB raises with a 3 lbs weights, grunting so that the entire gym can hear him. we get done with our squats and move from the power cage to the bench, he comes over "are you done with the cage?" i say yes. he proceeds to do standing curls in it. after a sufficient warm-up, he loads up 115 lbs, rolls up the sleeves on his tshirt, squeezes his temples with his fists, breathes loudly and grunts for about 30 seconds (at this point everyone in the gym is watching him and laughing), then does 4 reps during which he yells as if he is giving birth. at that point we are done on the bench, so i ask him "you done with your curls, bro(e)?"

ACtually no. I want Andrew Charniga to go into a planet fitness sternly lecture about why olympic weightlifting is the best sport and everyone should do it and the modern fitness industry is evil incarnate and anyone doing something other than olympic lifting is automatically worse than a paedophile rapist(which likely understates what he believes) while everyone who works there is tied up and gagged and must listen quietly without responding for 8 hours.

Wow, your planet fitness looks pretty big in that gif kyle! No barbells though

NO DEADLIFTING

They've printing it 'DEAD LIFTING' which I assume is lifting while dead. Deadlifting should be fine however, which I'd do there just to argue with them about this point, then demand they replace the sign because it's misleading.

What is the logic behind that??

Broken foot liability?!?
doesnt help wearing shoes if somone DL +300lbs?
Maybe it sucks up too many plates so others cant workout?!?

this, don't know what you would expect from a place with a "Lunk Alarm" since only lunks would want to deadlift

I'd love to see someone do heavy power cleans - dropping the bar from the top after each rep right in front of that sign. They aren't deadlifts.

They would light up the "Lunk Alarm" for dropping weights ldo.

Also, I'd like to add that I actually saw a guy doing legit squats today in the cage next to me. I commended him for it and he said he had noticed me doing them as well and that there were maybe 3 guys he has seen do a real squat there, which pretty much jived with my observations.
