Nope. They don't. But for something like this, the line is almost assuredly set at .5 to reduce it to something that doesn't push 100% of the time.

how would making the O/U 0.1 be any different to making it 1 in this spot?

Binomial v trinomial.

Because if they got one it would push.

I'd take the under on 1 for like 180

Ultra-marathon running and squatting heavy weights are very conflicting goals. I would be quite surprised if anything in her regular lifting is of the high-weight low-rep variety.

Maybe she could do 5 times as many body weight squats as some guys who can squat 4 plates, but if she is capable of squatting heavy weights she is probably not training very efficiently for ultra-marathon running.

I have a few "friends" (people I've done long runs with on a regular basis) who do ultras. That being said I am pretty sure a lot of the guys could squat 300+ and only weigh like 150. I agree that it is incredibly taxing on the body but there are some crazy strong guys running 100+ miles a week.

I would not bet on the previously described woman being able to squat 225.

I'm sure the world is littered with super-Mark Twights.

Had no clue who that was... One google image search later and yes they do pretty much look like that...

I dunno, I know a fair amount of sub 14:30 5K guys and sub 31 minute 10K guys and I'd be really surprised if any of them could do a squat to parallel with 135 lbs nevermind double bodyweight.

Depending on the system, it may.

A fractional line can represents partial payout on the result immediately to either side of the line or just the closest when it isn't x.5

Eg line is 1.7, bet is \$10, it's a limited spread bet (this may just be a term / concept my friend and I invented)

0 = under win 10
1 = under win 7
2 = over win 3
3 = over win 10
4 = over win 10 (in a true spread betting system the winner would get an extra unit for every unit of result his way hence the limited part of the name)

line is 1.7, bet is \$10 it's one-way limited spread bet (this is how betfair do it on season finishing position bets for soccer)

0 = under win 10
1 = under win 10
2 = over win 6 (0.3 difference * 2 to represent partial win * bet)
3 = over win 10

I'm sure I've noobed up the terms but the short answer is - it can matter.

I have my doubts on the CFE guys doing the mileage of these nubs or the ability. Running 10K is sweet, but a far cry from 26m or 100m.

I just looked at the Rippetoe chart. 225 isn't impressive. It'd be enough to build a small shrine for. It is ~elite level for BW, she's significantly past her strength peak and a ultramarathoner. I'd consider driving out to watch this feat myself.

Lateral raises are the new trend at my gold's. They rival curls for the most performed excercise i see at the gym.

The guys I was talking about are not the sub 14:30 or 31minute 10k guys. They can just run forever. As per the guys you are talking about, I would bet that most of my college teammates who go sub 1430 could squat 135 but nowhere near double bodyweight.

Keep telling yourself that. I'm quite certain the Baltics have a loltastic culture of working out. I have not ventured into many countries who yearn for the glory days. lololol Northern.
