Not much to get, she places 1 leg high on the side of the smith machine then puts the bar on her shoulder using both arms to move it a quarter inch for her 1RM. She does this everywhere, she will lift the 130lb dumbbell an inch or go to the cable machine and lift the entire stack and smash it down. The police were called for her a few months ago when she refused to stop smashing down on every machine and wouldn't leave the building, not sure why she's still allowed to be there.
Does she strut around with a superior "yeah, I'm strong as ****" kind of look? Or is she super awkward and never makes eye contact with anyone? For some reason I'm picturing one or the other of those extremes.
New year newbies can't ****ing park either I guess. Our lot is ****ty tight spaces but holy ****, not only is it more crowded there are at least a half dozen idiots parked over the line taking two spots.
I support all newbies. If they need the calendar to flip to get them started and need to pay over a g to a ****ty trainer to stay committed I am okay with it. But there are two decent cable cross over stations at this crowded gym, and for some reason they are not intimidating to casuals, so at peak hours it is tough to get in. To have a trainer occupying one of them by hanging trx straps from the center so he can get his fish to do terrible and incorrect form squats (at a 15 second work/3 minute rest rate while he yammers on about his own injuries) is unacceptable. I'm going to the supervisor this time.
I finished a bench set and was changing the weight when I heard, "Are you using this?" I look over and a lad is pointing at one of the empty machines behind the benches.
Half hour later I am sitting doing cable rows on the right end at the Mastertech apparatus, [usual 3 benches with two pullup/verticle cable crosses] when I hear it again. It's the same boy, this time pointing at the empty bench on the left end.
That's not too terrible of a New Years Newbie thing - its way better than him just jumping in on whatever whenever because he doesn't know to pay any attention. At least he's asking because he doesn't pay attention.
while eye stalking him i saw him do at least 3 reps of bench press with 4 plates on each side with 25's on the end. i mean he looked like he could tear anyone in half.

You missed the obvious reason: He was awkwardly trying to hit on DMW.
