Just got back from Cali last night and staying on the strip starting tomorrow til Sunday for March madness. Wanted to get in one lift before heading back to operation: destroy liver.
good stuff, solid motivation for myself as i'm finally just now starting to get more interested and into squat/dl/bench PR's. just from doing iso split workouts 3-4x a week and not dead lifting or squatting much at all the last couple years i'm at a point where i'm pretty fit and putting on noticeable muscle mass and can start getting into it more. i had been benching like 155-175 mostly when i randomly went for ~205 the other day and got it relatively easily. 1000 club sounds pretty fun to go for...
It’s weird, sometimes I feel good about my aesthetic gains and then other times, usually while at the gym, I feel like I’m still just a skinny-fat. At least I’m stronger (pound for pound) than a lot of the guys bigger than me and can probably outlift some of them straight up. Not usually a selfie kind of guy for progress pics, but maybe if I’m in the mood I’ll take some.

Lying leg curl- 1 leg 45x12x3 2x10 (30s)
Seated calf raise- 155x3x2 (top of my right calf near the back of my knee felt super tight and painful so decided not to push it)
Felt some tightness in my neck after 2nd set of ohp, hopefully it’s nothing more than that. Felt it again on rows so I dropped weight to make sure I wasn’t straining my neck at all.

Week 3 355 1RM for squats. Last rep was a slow grind, but solid overall. I ate some spicy seafood right before going to the gym...not a smart play. I was in a constant state of worry that it might come out one way or the other.
