Walked a couple miles yesterday with a 7lb weighted vest.

Started doing "Sunday meal prep" this week. So far so good.




Down 4 lbs already, but that's all water weight ofc. Still fat as hell.

top is BBQ chicken legs made with

roasted sweet potatoes / fresh pineapple & mixed greens

middle is butter chicken, spiced basmati rice and roasted veggies

bottom is chicken teriyaki, rice and stir fried veggies.

took me like 7 hrs to make the menu, buy groceries, cook it all and do dishes.

next week ill just order chinese food, good idea

I also started making beef jerky in the oven... pretty easy and really good. highly recommend.

gonna try a program of my own design. Its very similar to 5/3/1 except every week is 5s. Add 5lbs to the weight if I get >5 reps, retry same weight if I don't, reset 20lbs if I miss again. 4 days, squat/bench/DL/bench w/ OHP volume

went for a ~3 mile walk on saturday, and now my knee is jacked up. seems like bursitis. I really need to be doing quad/ham/calf mobility work. Ive been saying that for years though...
