IANARoller, but I'm relatively certain dick punching is frowned upon in BJJ. I assume dick grabbing is fine, though.

[family rant] Got to listen to my father criticize me for eating those figs he bought me (without my asking) because apparently they don't have any vitamins. When I challenged him on that, he pivots his argument to their high sugar content. While figs are on the high end for fruit, I'm not eating a ton, and he thinks there's nothing wrong with the copious amount of grapes and oranges he eats all the damn time. Also, this paragon of nutrition literally ate a big ass piece of cheesecake for breakfast this morning, 3 hours before he knows my brother is coming over to make pancakes and bacon for everyone (notice how I skipped the pancakes and made myself eggs). When I brought that up, his response was, "Well, you gotta eat something for breakfast." [/rant]

Everyone is a hypocrite in some way Still it's nice to be able to have a wee rant occasionally online about bs stuff. I'm trying to remember what I did before the internet and I think ranting to my dog/cat/goldfish was pretty effective

Since I've gone lower carb I've been getting really sleepy whenever I break fast. Basically the same feeling as when you eat eay too much pizza at once, but it happens no matter what is in my meal, even if its all protein and fat. My second meal later in the day doesn't produce this effect. I'm going to try breaking fast with a small snack and then eating a meal about an hour after that.

I felt so good at the gym today that I decided to throw in some prowler sprints after my lifts.



I was light-headed and out of breath for about 10 minutes afterwards lol. Of course going balls to the wall isn't such a great idea after not doing cardio in forever. Reminded me of the time that I was side-lined for a few months with a knee injury and when I got back to the gym I went so hard on the battle ropes that I couldn't stand up for 5 minutes afterwards. I sure do love me some prowler sprints though. I got a nice little pwo high. I miss those.
