Making progress on the weight loss. golfclap.gif

If you get back down to 158, you'll have so much more LBM that it'll be interesting to see an updated pic (with updated measurements) and compare to your last 159 pic.

6/27
Bench 225 3x3
Incline bench 170 3x7
DB shoulder press (unilateral) 45s 3x10
Face Pulls 3x10
CGBP 175 2x5
Skull Crushers 2x8

Was going to do 135 5x5 military press. Lol. Yeah right, felt like a house. Two factors. Incline bench beat me up and Cut is progressing a little faster than I would like. Sub164 today. I will be in Panama for a month starting next week. Lots of home cooking and lots of training. Been on the road for 6 months. Excited about some stability. May do just maintenance in Panama and then finish my cut on the scuba trip.

Still not sure about future programming. Not sure I would enjoy TexasMethod. For me the most important thing is enjoying my lifting days. Pure strength training is zzzzzz.

What do you think of LRB? He starts off with that 5 4 3 2 1 1 1 stuff (or whatever it is, check Aidans) and then hits up ass tons of reps.

Any reason you did 225 triples instead of progressing to a higher 5-rep weight? I am scheduled for 230x5 this Friday, but I get the feeling I might be doing some triples as well. Bench weight getting into PR territory.

Just felt lightish was more appropriate, I am cutting after all. Triples were fairly easy. Some black dude commented that I was leaving too much in the tank. Maybe so but I was resting a Weasellike 6+ min.

That happened to me when I asked a guy to spot me on 225x5. I went to rack the bar and he kept yelling, "You got one more in you! ONE MOAR!!!!!!"

Yah. Worst thing that happens is you stop lifting jellydick weights. That would be devastating. Just devastating.

This sounds like something a weak person might say to justify their weakness.

Then again, this forum is filled with a bunch of strongish dudes without any abs or guns who are trying to delude themselves into thinking chicks give a **** about big hamstrings, so I guess these things balance themselves out.

Loco,

When I saw you in Vegas I was 232. I'm the same weight but I look worse in the mirror even though I'm stronger. If I cut to 220 will I look the same to someone who doesn't post on h&f. I guess what I'm asking is am I fat enough where I can lose 10ish pounds but not lose strength. I have 2.5 months to lose the weight

Try this. Don't drink on your workout days for the next 10weeks. That will give you probably enough of a deficit to lose 10. And hopefully less alcohol mitigates the effect of less calories on strength.

But in general you will probably look the same. I would personally attack it this way

* 45 min treadmill high incline walking on off days
* no alcohol on training days
* give creatine a try since you have never taken

And then just eat around the same. I think that shouldn't affect strength levels and should equate to 10+. Whatever you do, realize that you are probably going to lose strength if you lower the food calories. That squat is way too sensitive on deficits.

Da loco speaks the truth. Before my cut I was squatting 350 with perfect form. Now I can barely squat 175 with ****ty form. Bulk bulk bulk

Lel I'm trawlin. I'll be lucky to hit a 350 total, let alone for squats.

This is the gym that I had access to today. Brutal.

9/1
Bench 80kg+ skinny bar 3x8
DB decline bench 18kg+ 2x20
DB RFESS 18kg+ 3x10
Leg curl 3x6
Fat bar wide pull-ups 3x10
Cable rows 55kg 3x10

8/29 even more shiet hotel gym
5x10 pulldowns
4x15 barbell rows
3x8 DB incline curls
45 min LISS

Home on Thursday. Lots of food. Lots of gym. Probably going to do minibulk for three weeks and then resume cut in late September. I am drinking lots of alcohol and my diet is kinda ****ty. But I still don't gain weight on my vacations. The secret is light lunches + 42g whey shot. The rest of the day is disaster but still looks okay because of the light lunch.

9/4
Deadlift 292x1 242 2x6
Hbbs 212 2x6
Tbar row bar+90 x10 bar+100 2x10
Chins 3x12
DB pullover 60 3x12

I lift like shiet. I look like shiet. I am shiet. Squat form felt awful.

Sick gym in Medellin. So many hotties. Was going to film for you guys but nonzero chance cartel boyfriend would come after me. Best place ever to move and become a personal trainer. Would bang tons of hotties. All the rich hotties have personal trainers. Average life expectancy would probably only be 3 years. You could get all sauced up, contract the HIV or get murdered by jealous boyfriend/husband. But it would have all been worth it, a good short sweet life.
