Fit people talkin about how much dessert made them feel bodily ill remind me of people who regularly go to chiropractors talkin about how much their back hurts whenever they are overdue for a spinal adjustment.

eh, in this case I'm actually gonna go with loco.

When your body has not processed (a lot) of crap for a long while your stomach isn't 'ready' to digest it. In addition the sugar you are not used to having will cause a insulin response your body isn't accustomed to.

Spiraling out of control

This is the MLYLT burger (pretty sure she gets single patty). It's actually pretty good. I am going go estimate 1000 cals (no mayo).

I could eat another, it's 10 minutes later. Really no joke, I would really like for some of you guys to keep better track of how you feel after food. I feel good and loved the burger, but I am facking hungry. My theory is that heavy bread, fat, salt, and even sugar from the ketchup create a toxic craving for MOAR.

I eat stuff like this all the time. But with R-E-Z-P-E-C-T. Back on the wagon next meal.

Man, I am still savoring that burger. Licking my chops. Definitely worth a dime of calories.
But dessert yesterday was not worth it. Have to keep reminding myself that in general most casino buffets have subpar dessert. Don't fall for it.

I like how you put it (i.e., 'ready') in quotes, because even you know on some level this is some sort of bro-sciencey garbage. If you have any evidence for this I'd love to hear it.

I can see how it might make you feel diffferent (e.g. psychosomatic reasons, perhaps insulin response, as you suggest below, etc.). But if it does I doubt the problem is with the literal process of digestion of the food that was pictured.

There may be something to this, but in loco's case I doubt it. I don't think loco's diet is as clean as you think it is. Even he said that there's junk he's not logging.

This is actually basically what I do. I can't eat for **** now, super full after like 1500kcal meals. Since I don't eat breakfast, I basically can never go way over kcals.

Let's also remember that a reasonably-athletic but still quite fat 260 at 6'6" is like your reasonably fat 140 at 5'6" via the DT-approved 10lbs/1" weight-class-height-adjustment metric. So, don't worry, we're the same! You're welcome.

lol, you're right, it is rather bro-y. But let me ask you this: Do you think you could drop your diet now for a strict Japanese diet? Inuit? 100% raw meat? Do you think your body would digest and absorb the nutrients correctly immediately without any issues whatsoever? Or would it take X time of this diet before your gut bacteria et al adapted?

"Digestion" regarding how I said it wasn't a complete though but rather just the beginning phase of how your body actually breaks down and absorbs nutrients.

Maybe there are actual studies to find in pubmed, or maybe just a meta-study or observational or nothing at all, which is quite likely.

And perhaps in this case the differences aren't enough and its psychosomatic because he's programmed himself to know its 'wrong' to eat. But he's given you anecdotal evidence how a change from his regular diet makes him feel different enough to warrant placing explicit "blame" on his choices of food. I think we've all experienced eating something 'different' and knowing it in some manner.

I'm sure there's something to the insulin thing. Or having a little tummy discomfort. But loco felt "nasty." Like he needed to take scalding hot showers to cleanse himself of his dreadful sins. I'm obviously ball breaking a bit, but my point is that it's mostly a psychological / psychosomatic response.

For a part of one meal (as was loco's case)? Yeah, I think I'd be OK.

I just read the Hifi disaster. Good lord.... talk about fancy play syndrome.

I think the simplest diet is almost always the best one. As soon as you allow for a ton of inconsistency and big differences between any 2 given days, the probability of failing weight loss increases regardless of goals, whether it's to get 8% bf stagelean or get to non-obesity.

Just had this. Actually had a 4th one. Donk food but I do make an exception when I am traveling aboard. These are tasty and cost 33 cents each. Lol. I am going to go with 800 cals and not very filling. Mostly carbs.

Those little salsas are awesome. Need to market them and get rich.

I think it's 2/3 pound. But after it cooks its probably "only" 7oz. Still have to log it as 2/3 pound though. It's a very common mistake for dieters to get confused between raw meat and cooked meat.

Legendary gourmet meal for under 600 cals (including alcohol). I actually ate meat after this but the point is this is filling in itself. And super tasty. Peruvian ceviche.

The other day had this

I messed up on the side order. I saw potatoes. I saw yucca (lol, one of the caloric dense foods in the world and used to feed the poor), and onions. I thought maybe the onions were grilled. Wrong, ate half the order. Also had 2 oz Argentina sausage, no wine because the country was dry that day.

No idea cals but around 1000 probably reasonable.

Beyond facking stuffed for over 8 hours. I don't understand how fatties can overeat like this everyday. It's not good, my stomach felt bloated for a while. Too much facking meat.

Calorie restriction makes you sharper and IMO improves your quality of life.

Color me facking shocked. Never would have guessed. Yet the "fatties" around here will say dieting is painful. No man, keep track how you feel and what you get done after each meal. You will see that less is MOAR.

The people say I am carbophobic, even the the famed ab has called me out on this.

No.

Shrimp ceviche with large flat patacones
I think carbs are just poor people's food and in general taste awful unless masked by fat, sugar, and salt.

But today we make an exception. Fresh fried plantains that look like tostadas. Piping hot and tender, super tasty. But probably 300 a pop, so we must tread carefully for the main entree so I went with a spicy fish soup.

Creamy soups concern me, but wat the fack do I care. I am ripped and its vacation.
