I'm pretty certain the one dude at my gym is 15% or just under and he used to be 350 apparently. But I also question his natty status - because while it'd be interesting to know I don't care. His delts pop nicely but he has no traps (for a geared person) which is just exercise selection really.

I've seen pics on bb.com but yeah that also says nothing about surgery/drugs and maintaining it. I imagine it has to happen but I think most ghost fatty logs here are an accurate representation

loco,

You know I love you, man, but I think there's some grade inflation going on in your "tasty" rankings. Lots of clumped rankings in the 8-10 area. Only 4 I remember was some casino food people probably sneezed on all day. Seems like you find grilled mountains of lean chicken and beef way tastier than normal people. Which is great for you! But I don't think we should pretend it's actually in some way objectively tasty.

Also, lol Arby's. Great diet restaurant, I agree. Because I'd rather fast for the day than eat there.

Yeah I don't buy all these rankings even though I agree with the general sentiment.

I enjoy your posts though loco, very inspiring. Yesterday I had 1000 calories worth of (delicious) chocolate, today I had a big mcdonalds meal on the way home from beer drinking!

Fabian,

Definitely inspiring as well! One of the biggest takeaways I've gotten from this forum is the dedication not just to exercise, but to nutrition, that leads to the strength and physique changes guys like Loco, Busto, -EV have accomplished. For a generic skinnyfat guy like myself, it's both inspiring to see that they've been able to get where they've gotten, and sadly enabling for me to be like "man that's super super hard, and you can't have any screwups, of course I haven't been able to get there," even though I haven't even really tried even a little.

I think that the exercise that loco is doing right now, and an extension from here, would be hugely instructive to the various fats who have no idea how to eat who come through the forum. Yes, you can lose lots of weight eating 4oz steamed skinless chicken + steamed carrots every meal. No, you don't have to. And adherence is going to be a lot easier if you eat things that taste good, instead of "this is the maximally optimal food that you'd eat if you needed to feed your body for performance/bodybuilding."

I wish he would expand to showing a full log for a couple weeks in some kind of spreadsheet form. Showing someone like MLYLT what she could be eating 1600cal/day while being full and not wanting to cry into her 3 day old pre-chopped spinach I think would be helpful.

I also agree a loco detailed food log would be pretty awesome.

As a fattie (previously super fat (I promoted myself) ), loco's logs prove that eat anything you want as long as you remain within your calorie range..

This boils down to discipline imo at the end of the day. That's what I didn't have previously and I suspect what MLYLT doesn't have now.

Do you really think though that MLYLT doesn't know what she is eating is over her 1200cals?

I empathise with her situation as I know her heart is the right place but it seems at this point all the personal problems are taking priority over the diet.

Sorry for the slight derail.

I rarely eat tuna, bros. I am just thinking of the driest leanest protein. Tuna with no oil would be a Nightmare to eat 3 cans of it, what is that? 360 cals. Gross.

I understand where some of you guys are coming from that say my tasty ratings are inflated. It's true, everything taste fantastic to me. But that's also because it's been years now since I conquered my addiction (alcohol and sweets).

Man you won't believe how good bell peppers, zucchini, apples, berries, tomatoes, cherries etc etc taste to me. Honestly it's pretty close to a religious experience. It makes me believe in God.

I know, I know. Fatties are spitting their cookies as I type. But I am being honest, I stand by my tasty ratings (except the casino sandwich, that's a revised 4/10).

Everyone has different tastes. So it's up to all of us to find what fills us and is tasty. But please stop shietting on the Smashburger salad. I seriously have that at 9/10. It's facking delicious. Sure the burger is 10/10, but I am way more stuffed on the salad. You haters get 5x chicken and let me know how you feel? Thats still less than 1000 calories. I think most fatties would cry uncle.

DT would be a good test because he weighs 260. Guy talks a lot of game about being able to eat meat. Mmmkay, let us know if you full after after 5x. For sure you will be able to eat it because I know I can. But man, I be stuffed.

Also I am not doing a full day log. I eat plenty of junk and you know fatties will look for any excuse.

I am the opposite of Renton. I don't really believe in IIFYM for fatties. I think they should mainly eat clean (90%), to kick the food addiction.

IIFYM is for true pros like myself and someone like Montecore and BTM. People who have talked the talk and walked the walk. Lean permanent legends of the H&F game.

But I am hoping to one day due a similar log, but for exercise. Unfortunately the technology is not quite there yet. Basically I would log efficient calorie burning exercise. Thus I would have to log my calories because my goal would be to prove a 3000 cal maintenance at 160lb bodyweight with less than 5 hours of exercise per week is possible. I absolutely believe it can be done and could prove it now. But I want to know where it's coming from.

Here would be an example

Hit that up this morning while watching TV. Honestly through other types of exercise, I think I can get that number close to 1000 calories per half hour!! But I need better technology.

I can be convinced that you're onto something. But on it's face it just seems like another extreme diet that a fattie is doomed to fail at. Like any other crash diet or juice detox or whatever.

If any are interested I could post some of my 1300-1400/day food logs. It's moderate carb, pretty IIFYMy, but adherence has been easy.

When you stop eating flavored processed things you realize how good "natural" food tastes, even if that natural food is something as boring as plain chicken breast or carrots or peppers.

loco,

FWIW it wasn't the taste ratings I was criticizing but some of the other ones.

I stand strongly behind my "filling" ratings and have proved them with countless fatties I work with. They all stuffed. In fact the casino chicken breast meal that I am getting criticized for not being filling was eaten by one of my students. He is 200 lbs and I saw him eat 2500 cals of sushi and still be hungry. He said he was stuffed by that giant breast and I gave the rating based on his opinon!!!

Calorie ratings are close to 100%. Micros/macros is not as important and just my opinion (maximize micros, minimize carbs only because they so easy to get anyways).

If you can survive a casino buffet for 1000, you can survive anything.

6 oz turkey
6 oz shrimp
6 oz crab

Stick a fork in me my friends. Beyond facking stuffed.

Scratch that, I have succumbed.

I think this picture has the same calories as the previous. Lol.

I feel nasty now. My stomach hurts. And I have to go work. Bad call. We move on and remind ourselves that casino dessert does not taste good. And worst of all, I am slow, groggy, and hurting now.
