1/22
Weight 173
Bench 245x5
Cgbp 3x8 185
Incline db fly (45deg) 3x8 40s
DB military press 3x8 55s
Db kickbacks 2x15 25s
Stir the pot 3 sets

Got the bench on video but clueless about Android. But geez, mass monster. Massive upperbody, big belly, but bench looks a bit suspect. My chest/belly rises a bit after descent. I think I am still breathing in. I will film on my iPhone next time and get it uploaded.

Been busy. Skipped the weekend, did back on Monday. Was lazy yesterday.

1/27
Bench 255x3
Paused bench 2x2 225
Incline bench 2x10 165
Paused front squat 3x2 195
Unilateral legpress 2x8 180+sled
Leg extension 140x12 +5 +5 +5 +4*
*myoreps
Standing calf 4x12 200

Here is the bench, I should have had 4. But last week I noticed my ass was possibly coming off, so I clamped down today and lost a rep.

Front squat warm ups didn't feel great so aborted heavy ones and paused them instead.

See these felt fine but probably because I cut off depth a little. Definitely not pummiesque but I think they pass. And definitely not "fairly poor" like SenseiSingh, even though the depth looks about the same. Lol.

If you don't think those are deeper than SS, then I don't know what to tell you.

Late to the party.

Guess they look okay.
While the depth is marginal, they're very controlled, bar bath is good, no back rounding etc.
That said, can't quite point out why exactly but to me it looks like there's a certain degree of awkwardness to them.

Jelly of the bench.

Maybe it's the feet forward thing.

I bet if you kept the stance width the same but pointed your toes out and allowed a tiny bit of forward torso lean, you could move faster and go deeper.

I dunno.

FS - depth is fine. If there is one minor nit to pick, you're leaning just a bit forward as you descend. That's why they look a bit awkward. Its a very hard exercise to do properly. You do them as well as or better than I ever have.

bench - Come to MN and bench with me a few times. Me & my guys will fix that for you.

My engagement is officially off. Shiet happens, we move on.

I am a runner now. At 6min mile now. Still lift but just trying to maintain upperbody. And I am not even doing that. Lost some muscle and strength. Bench Max probably back down to 255/260. Did pause squat atg easy for 245 but then lowback said hello again.

Plan is to get MRI and make one more run at 1000 pounds at 165.

I know some people have gone through a difficult time. It's been rough for me also. I mean I was with that girl 10 years. She can go with that skinnyfat busto musician, she already crying panicking trying to come back. Nope, game over. I will be fine. I am rich and have my health also. That's really rich.

I mean compared to roid users I look tiny, but next to my running mates I am an absolute mass monster. Still 15% bodyfat. Don't really see the point of going lower though since I get so skinny in clothes.

How's the ass holding up?

I am starting to worry about getting saggy old man ass. Every time I go into the gym locker room it is just a bunch of old white men with gross saggy flat asses walking around.

It is really depressing looking and really making me worry this is something that as a skinny fat ectomoroh pushing 40 I am going to have to start worrying about. Maybe it is time to take up running now that I don't squat anymore.

If tight ass is the goal I'm not sure how running is the answer. Sprinting, maybe, but not what most people mean by "running." While squats are basically the answer to everything, deadlifts are answer 1b to everything. Or can you not DL anymore either?

QB: Hip thrusts (eg Tony Gentilcore)

Hip thrusts or glute bridges.

"Running" will definitely lead to flat ass in the long term.

One only has to google "Runners butt" to see the consequences of long distance running.
