I recently weighed in the 170s for the first time in several years. I might be coming down in weight to challenge you for king of the manlets.

I am 171 now.

I stopped running. I ate more. I got fat.

Basically what it boils down to. I haven't been this weight in close to 4 years.

The good news is I feel strong. Bench pressed an easy 275 two weeks ago and 255x3 this week. Front squat feels easy also. Back squatted 245x5 with no back pain but still not squatting. Scared.

Don't know what the plan is now. Need to get back to running. Maybe set a 285 bench goal. Which I can probably hit in two weeks if I just gain more weight. And make a 275 front squat goal. Which I can probably do in two months if I just go up to 181 pounds.

The eating has been bad. Lots of candy. Frustrating. Just eating tamarind chili nonstop. Feel like a fatty. I feel awful after the candy binging but I still do it. Gotta reign this in or else straight to fattysville.

I love tamarind. Lots of olden times tamarind candy available here. Also maybe you will like Jaamuns (Jambonee?). They sell them under the trees from which they fall in Delhi. Eat them with some sprinkling of salt and combined with their ability to make your mouth dry, sour taste and pretty much the lowest calorie per gram of any fruit I have ever come across makes these ideal for h&f purposes. Taste great, low cals and makes you lose apetite/palette for more snacks. What could be better?

Soon after setting a "running" goal the wheels fall of the wagon.

I've got a friend. 5'10 / 220lbs / 30%+. He started doing couch to 10k or something. He was so proud the other day because he did 9km in 60 minutes or something like that and only needed to walk once. This can be you, loco!

175 today

No longer a tinybro.

I lost a bench-off vs my buddy for the first time ever. I smoked him a month ago at 164lb bodyweight vs 272 lb bodyweight. This time I came in at 174 and he came in at 302!!!!

I was going first, so he had a small edge off the bat. I went for 280 bench and got it, but it wasn't easy. He went for 285 and got it somewhat easy. I thought about surrendering right there but I figured this was the last time I was ever going to bet for money in a bench-off with him. He is just too facking big. So what the heck, threw 290 there. I was worried my tiny wrists would collapse and I would die. Just remind myself, no matter what just stay tight.

I barely missed it and it was dumb to try and go for a push after that. And he won and took me for $76.

But yeah these weightgain gym gainz are so facking fake. No man I haven't gained any muscle. I am just 11 pounds heavier, all fat and water.

I think it's time the whiteboard and all log PRs get weightadjusted. I mean I could hit 285 bench at 175 and nowhere near making the whiteboard. Such a sham.

Yeah I think I am going to go for 180 and then get some bloodwork done. Compare 180 to 154.

Pretty legit bench, buddy. Fatness suits you (in that your body is now encased in a suit of fat).

I bet someone is no longer going with the wiping imaginary sweat off their forehead with the bottom of their shirt so they can look at their flexed abs move anymore.

Looks like I settled in at a hefty 171lb bodyweight. I don't mind gaining a bit more but rather take it real slow.

Still eating like shiet. Desserts. But now sometimes skipping a meal and just eating two quest bars.

I could definitely bench 285 for video. But at this time I don't have any plans max out again. I already went off on my buddy that he can't be maxing out every week. All he wants to do is negatives and max out.

But yeah man this is the best I have ever felt. Absolutely no pain anywhere. Massive monster hard-ons. Posture is close to perfect. Still have abs and my face is still sort of lean. I look way better in a tanktop, because I am bigger and shoulders still striated (weight just goes to belly).

Just a dream come true. Work going great also. Getting super pumped. Giving up squats has taken me over the hump.

The only stress I have had is moving to Boston. 500 square feet for $2100 a month. Facking ridiculous. When we went to go see the apartment, I started looking for a hallway to see the rest of it. No, that was it. But the location is awesome. Fiancée is two blocks from school and right across Boston sports club gym.

Boston girls are hideous. Not a single hot girl in the gym. It's like damn man, if you from Boston good luck finding a girl. The competition must be intense. I suggest moving to Medellin for a summer.

I already left. Don't know when I am coming back. Swamped with work. Have to order the rice cooker for the fiancée. LolChinese. Had this falafel ball pita stuffed with goodies. Sweet if you could replace the falafel balls with chicken or gyro meat and then stuff it silly with hummus, red peppers, and the rest of the salad bar.

This is what last three days have looked like.

1/19
Bench press 4x7 215
Cable crossover 3x12
Btn press 3x10 95
Cable upright row 3x10
Ab wheel 4x12

1/20
Wide pullups 5x8
DB row 3x15 @75s
Standing cable row 2x15
Machine pullover 3x12 @120
Hammer curl 3x8 30s
Weighted crunch 3x12

1/21
Front squat 185x3 205x1 225x1 135x12
Unilateral db sldl 3x8 40
Leg curl 2x15 140
Leg ext 2x15 140
Calf raise 4x12 180

Plan going into leg day was to hit 2x5 @185 on front squat followed by deadlifts. But 185x3, the bar slipped a bit and I racked it. Also, pummi's 97kg singles were weighing on my mind. I rage when any tinybro tries to show me up. So boom, went for 225. It was fine, there is more in the tank. But as I was coming out of the whole my erectors flexed and I could feel they stepped in to help get this. Don't know what that means but seems no good. So I called off the big deadlifts and went with pussy unilateral sldl. I gotta get some video of these front squats. 185x3 looked fine on video but maybe two wheels I fall apart.

I love push/pull/legs so much. I can go 6 days straight or 3on/1off. Also if I miss a few days, I can go to upper/lower and then push/pull/legs. It's beautiful for my schedule and helps compliance a bunch. The uppers are super easy but I have to man up and make the legs better. No reason not to Bulgarian split squat besides being a little pussy.

Oh wow. papaloco frontsquatting 2 plates. Is that a WR?

Just so you know, I'll be going for a 1RM test in 2 weeks.
Thinking 105 is in the cards. Maybe 110, if I don't wreck my quads via biking beforehand.

Little too deep and you winked? The erectors would fire harder than normal in that case to bring you out.
