In my defense I started wearing XL shirts recently because I hate looking like I buy shirts too small on purpose just to look like I lift.

Depending on the fit:
M/L = back+chest+arms look huge. Damn this guy lifts!!! But LOL you can almost see his navel. His shirt is way too small! What an idiot!
L/XL = hey this guy is hot. He looks like he's in shape. Man he's big, but he doesn't look like a meathead. I wonder what his penis looks like.

This girl is big boned. Not Asian. Would not try to bang.

Damn. I have the same problem, except my problem is solved by mediums. Several smalls used to be big on me (depends on brand yo). Even when I was fat. Now I can't wear those shirts without it looking like I'm showing off my bicep insertions.

Probably time to get new shirts. I imagine that there is a company out there that is making shirts that fit you the best. Looking like you even lift = worth showing off. Girls do it all the time and you know they want to be with guys who do as well. You think girls tell their girlfriends "oh I know he looks average and skinny but trust me, he's super hyuge under all of that fabric!"

So, that pea coat for your "dog" was really just yours, right?

Also, banging fat chicks is disgusting. See Hendricks.

I have this fear in the back of my mind too, especially with those new Henley's I bought that show off a bit more. You may not have the same analytical and "aspy" (whatever the **** that means) reputation that I do, but I think we have some commonalities along the lines of overthinking social things. But I think when it comes down to it, you just have rock it. We need to change our mindset to "I need to analyze what everyone's thinking and make it be socially optimal" to "look at these gunz, we should bang."

I agree completely. I have less of this than you guys but still some of that in the back of my head.

I think that a lot of the time, if you are wearing something that shows off your physique and you approach a girl, you might be self-conscience about your attire but her line of thought will be more "damn I like his guns"

I would need to wear a medium for a shirt to be tight enough around my arms to look like I even lift. The only problem is that it would literally only go halfway down my back. My most aesthetic size is probably extra long medium, which I don't think they make.

Guess it is DYEL for life.

I'm actually happy that you've recognized this in me. It's definitely true. I fully agree with what you just said. Easier said than done though.

You can't control what people think. You can only control what you think yourself.

Waist - 31" (around navel)

I recently did these measurements on myself just out of curiosity, and what stood out the most is I have what I consider super tiny effeminate wrists, but my wrists are still 7", which is considerably larger than yours. You were not kidding when you said how disproportionate the rest of your arms were to your wrists.

I guess this means there is realistically a relatively low ceiling on how much lean mass you can actually put on, but this is partially offset by the fact your arms will appear bigger than they are just due to contrast.

Something else that surprised me was my legs were only 23.5". I thought there would be a bigger contrast because I weigh so much more and can squat a lot more. So I guess this is hope for you that you will one day hit 315x5, as this is probably my 5RM right now, and my legs are not much bigger than yours.

11/21
Weight: 158.5

I don't know what the heck I was doing yesterday. I went swimming with my buddy and then he convinced me to juice (fruit and vegetables) for the day. The smoothies were surprisingly tasty. But like at 8pm I remembered that I was supposed to squat and deadlift today so I had to stop this possible 800 calorie day. But I wasn't hungry at all, the smoothies satisfied my hunger. Forced myself to go to the buffet and managed 1000 cals.

Bill starr 5x5 week 2 day 2

Squat 210 3x5
Deadlift 265x5
Press 120 5x5
Weighted Chins +40 5x5
Standing one arm cable row 3x8

Not going to lie, deadlift felt heavy. Very frustrated. Want to grab a Dumbell and smash it on fakebusto's face and scream "take that and your 325x5!!"

Instead about to "smash" this

Burger and fries was 1750 cals. 72g protein.

It was a tadbit greasey but solid. Feel better already. Forward we proceed and hopefully soon PR City comes to view.

Well looking at http://smashburger.com/pdf/NutritionalDoc.pdf the "Big Smash" ranges from about 800-1000, and the sweet potato fries are 460. So there's that.

ETA: That also doesn't look like a crazy amount of fries to me. Potatoes are awesome. You get a lot of potato for not a lot of calories.
