I just accidentally typed comp squat when i sent him the first week and i've been copying and pasting every week. But, some people have comp squat as either with belt or belt and wraps if you compete that way and they will have squat as no belt or belt depending on if they squat with wraps. I dont do it that way tho
Regardless, I think we can agree the less thought fakebusto puts into his routine, the better things are going to go.
Weasel, see what other funny things you can slip into next week's schedule and we'll see if he'll actually do them.
ETA: I think I would suggest elbows more tucked (and possibly hands closer together to help facilitate that, it's hard to tell), but I'll ultimately defer to the experts.
"Anal T-Bar rows? And he didn't even tell me to bring lube? Maybe doing it dry is part of it? It seems like it would hit a different part of my posterior chain . . . "
Comp anything is geared up exactly how you would perform the lift in competition, as weasel mentioned. Mike T uses a lot of variants and programs explicitly with and without belt, so it adds clarity. I have got lazy and since all benching unless specified is competition paused then "Bench Press" = "Competition Bench Press".
I just saw that cgbp video. Good luck with that. The bar path is probably not funny at all. It's probably pretty close to straight down and up. My elbows started hurting doing that. I touched lower, more tucked and now it's fine. Cgbp back in the rotation.
Man lol. Weasel's routine is like magic. Woke up this morning fatter than ever. Wasn't going to post because I'm sure no one cares but me, but whatever, this log is for me.
Jesus. Lost over 2lbs and almost an inch from my waist. Yet am smashing PRs left and right. Praise be to Weasel. May his brogramming lead me to the top of IEL mountain.
nood obviously looks just like the last one. Whatever.
Here I was feeling like a failure, then I went back and checked Weasels email for this week's programming. My reading comprehension is ****ing terrible. Please tell my employer to fire me. Three reps??? Only supposed to be two. PR achieved!
Still might have been too heavy. Programming philosophy is that each set should leave at least one rep left in the tank.
Comp bench
195x7x5
Squat
260x6x3, 260x6 (+4=10)
Whatever. Left some in tank. Wasn't hard, just slowing down.
I think it's the numbers next to each other. 3 count next to x2. Maybe write "triples" or "doubles" instead. Of course I will write it as "x2" or whatever for the nits reading this log.
