People up here run off the road all the time. It is shocking how bad people drive in the snow when we have snow on the ground over half the year.

I thought about making them go shovel, but there's only one shovel and they're not great at sharing yet, so the wifeacore nixed that option.

I can sell you a house in Indiana too. You'd be permanently rustled.

Lol golden handcuffs imo.
I once lifted with a dude who has a huge basement gym. Its under his 3 car garage. The ceiling is concrete panels, and its about 10' high. Its more than twice as much space as mine, and because of its placement under the garage, noise to the rest of the house is minimal. The house is built on a sloped lot with a walkout basement, so he was able to put in a double-wide doorway to the outside for ease of moving large equipment in & out. He does move equipment in & out frequently for local powerlifting meets.

If I were having a new house built, I'd strongly consider his type of setup.

If you tried to lift today, I have no doubt the barbell would freeze to your body.

This is going to be the worst selling exercise book of all time.

Changing up plans here. Cutting will continue, but I have to get back to barbell stuff asap. I will be joining a newly opened CF gym that's a few min from my house (doing my own programming), and I am gonna switch up my schedule to go in the early morning in order to be more consistent. I have never lifted early before, so it will be interesting to see how this feels.

Plan is going to be to start really light, basic strength movements, linear brogress, which worked well for me previously. I am guessing cutting will catch up to me sooner rather than later, but we'll see.

Do you normally have breakfast? If not, most of the IF crowd suggests supplementation of pre- and intra-workout BCAAs for fasted AM training sessions.

Nice DLel

I only have breakfast on the weekends. Brunch, if you will.

I should probably read... Martin's site. Ugh. Do you BCAA? Brand rec?

I train in the evenings and get one meal + two scoop shake preWO, so I don't even BCAA. If I had to make a recommendation, I'd go with Optimum Nutrition BCAAs because I'm an ON nuthugger. I'm sure loco or ExpectedV could tell you what's the latest and greatest super preWO xtra lean gainz BCAAs though.

Ok, had a sec to look.

Here's Martin's rec:
http://www.leangains.com/2010/05/ear...-training.html
Quote:
6 AM: 5-15 minutes pre-workout: 10 g BCAA.
6-7 AM: Training.
8 AM: 10 g BCAA.
10 AM: 10 g BCAA
12-1 PM: The "real" post-workout meal (largest meal of the day). Start of the 8 hour feeding-window.
8-9 PM: Last meal before the fast.
I can stick to that. Thanks Friend-Bird for the reminder.

I like ON's BCAAs too; obviously get the flavored stuff unless you want to figure out what rancid elephant smegma tastes like.

I ordered "Scivation Xtend" because it seemed cheapest in my 60s of research, and it was also mentioned on Martin's site.

Pretty cool that I get to keep something that sounds like boner powder in my office where everyone will see it.

I always lift in the morning (or w/e I get up at 3pm and and am lifting at 4pm) and I def like having breakfast before hand.

If I'm going to go real hard I might just have something light before hand and plan on smashing a big meal right afterward.

The BCAA route is prob superior tho

Guys, you guys have no idea how much Frau Dr. DT is gonna give me a hard time for taking something called Xtend. She is relentless. She made fun of Jack3d for YEARS, asking me if I was gonna get Jack-3-d?

Hey Crunchy Black, nobody hires ****s. Just some free advice.

Jack 3-d - that's fairly solid.

At least with xtend she gets to enjoy a bit of the results too (hey-o).
