My week of food logging continues

Tuesday 1.29.13
Weight: 129/285
3700 kcals, 286g carbs, 162g fat, 235g protein (1.06g/lb-lbm)

Wednesday 1.30.13
Weight: 129/285
3670 kcals, 350g carbs, 174g fat, 274g protein (1.23g/lb-lbm)

Thursday 1.31.13
Weight: 129/285
3670 kcals, 157g carbs, 155g fat, 355g protein (1.60g/lb-lbm)
Ribeyes and strips and a shake imo.... and a 400 kcal beer with dinner.

Oh by the way, all the above are only two meals / day. Lunch, dinner + a snack in between.

Anyway, post 1001 in this log. Start of page 11. Wow. Not good enough progress. Gotta work harder.

I dont log my food anymore, but I would guess my calories & protein intake are fairly close to yours on average.

I hadn't logged food in quite a while. I am/was curious where my cals and protein are at as much as anything. It also gives me an idea of how much more I'd have to eat to gain (lol) or lose weight. I don't have plans for either right now, but I might dial down to try and average 3200 kcals over a month's time or something. That would be very easy.

I try to be reasonable on non-all-meat meals and eat a big, but not crazy portion. On all-meat meals I eat as much meat as I can, but just 'til I'm full and I try not to way overeat. (e.g. I measured 27oz of steak for dinner tonight. I could have eating another 9-12oz imo, but I would have felt bad later and I'm not trying to be gluttonous, just full and adequately fuel my workouts.) For some reason with meat, I can just keep eating and eating.

That sounds kind of similar to what I do, except I do something a bit different for breakfast - lots of frozen fruit, protein powder and eggs whites (as the liquid) blended together. I figure I get ~90 grams of protein out of that. Then I keep loose track in my head of protein the rest of the day, trying to get ~240 grams +. I eat lots of meat, very little or no sweets and fried stuff and try to avoid overeating.

I am interested in being strong someday at around 20% bf or less. Please elaborate on why I can't do that near 300lbs.

2.1.2013
Chilly. Got it up to 25F in the garage... not ideal, but ended up actually being fine.

Squat
190x5
grinded last rep

Bench press
130x5
Fine. May have had one more.

Deadlift
200x3
Haven't deadlifted in a while so I kept it light and shut it down when my low back felt a little off. PC limited imo. Note to self, add RDL volume on Monday.

I haven't eaten anything today, like 1000 kcals and 40g protein so far, so I'm pretty surprised the workout went as well as it did.

25f sounds pretty damn good for no insulation. I usually don't look at the weights you move but I gotta say it's pretty cool to do more on each lift than you, .

(please don't start labeling your weight numbers, kthx)

squat
165x5x5
Medium/fine difficulty. Lower legs are very tight. Rolling is only doing so much, may have to hit up my ARTist.

press
80x5x5
Easy, maybe 1-2 reps left on last set.

RDL
60x5x2
110x5x2
Very easy. Just starting these again so going light and concentrating on using posterior chain and not lower back.

Blast strap rows/ fat man pullups
5x10

Well, I'm just guessing based on the fact that there was another steak sitting in front of me and I know I could have eaten it. Again though, I was already full so it would have been ridiculous/gluttonous imo. Even for the 27oz, I can't *always* eat that much, only if say I know I'm going to have a big meal and I plan to be hungry for it / eat less the rest of the day.

I just ate the leftover steak the next day for dinner along with a pork pie (pulled pork in a puff pastry with mashed potatoes on top, yum).

1) Have access to very nice products and restaurants.
2) Don't budget for food.
3) Eat out on avg. probably just under 1x/day.

Eating here tonight. I won't say this type of place is standard, as I'm pretty excited about going, but it's not unusual either.

Ah, yeah, makes more sense when eating out 1x/day.

So, bone-in ribeye?

Gotta go by how I'm feeling later. I've had the bone-in ribeye there before, and it was good, but the sides/extras there are SOOooo ****ing good, that I might have to do something else so I can gorge on sides. I have to get the bone marrow, it's required. The foie terrine was also great. The bacon salad is sick. Etc.

Oh god, so hungry now. ****.
