Not dead afaict, I just took a couple of weeks off of everything. I got to spend some good time with the kiddos before they go back to school. Just goofing around the city and also visiting with my sister who was in town with her 4 kids.

Sent my son off to his first day of Kindergarten today, and my daughter starts 3rd later this week. Time flies.

My GI feels better, and overall I feel better too. All is well. And I am back to a more structured schedule this week.

My back is all ****ed up long story - I hit my head hard on the (stackable) dryer door which silently opened above me like a stealth ninja after I put some stuff in the washing machine - and I took the punch like loco v Snitch round 1 would be and blacked out for 1 sec and fell. This was last week, no concussion, I'm fine other than a ****ed up knee, hip, back. Dumb. Well, that was actually a short story.

Didn't he just like build a house? If so, who builds a house and makes the laundry area have stackable w/d? Only excuse is if this is a second laundry area on second floor to save having to walk to the basement. Sick humble brag about the ballin house with multiple laundry areas!
Good read it was the 2nd laundry room upstairs, still in my old place. I own two houses, one under construction. Both have two laundry areas. I was gonna have side by side on 2nd floor in new house and stackable in the mudroom, but I'll bring you by for final approval on which ones have stackable and which side by side. Let's not even get started on pedestals under the side by side vs. building a countertop over them otherwise we could have to have two meetings! I will at some point extremely soon have 4 laundry rooms. This is 3 more than average in USA#1 and probably 4 more than average worldwide! And loco has never been to Europe. Wow.

I totally misread that initially as I was attempting to skim/speed read so actually thought at one point you had 4 laundry rooms in one house. I was then trying to formulate a kind and non judgmental reply about how therapists will cover a lot of fetishes if you somehow wanted to tone it down at all before you had converted 90% of your house into laundry areas. Felt mostly relief when I realised you only had two, combined with some disappointment that I now didn't know anyone with a laundry room kink.

Life with front loading side by side is one of the few areas short people start with an advantage. Don't depress loco by telling him in America we can elevate our laundry machines.

I'm slightly injured but I feel fine so I will go lift later and see what I can do and rehab for what I can't.

Today is a perfect example of distraction - instead of going to the gym, I was at the site for 2 hours. Not complaining, but I need to look at offloading some of these dumb decisions that I don't care about e.g. lighting and plumbing fixtures (not that I don't care, but just that I'd rather pay a designer).
