I've been lifting very light in the most basic, maintenance sense of the term. All the below + walking more again now that it's nice here again have helped to keep my back feeling good, not sure how much I'll push things beyond this. I may have made a goal to bench more (?), but I don't really remember, which is the best way to accomplish goals. I may try to maintain all lifts (maybe FS at 275 or something still light... idk) and just drive up bench or something. Sounds like a great way to get bored though, so idk.

bw a fat and happy 260. Feel better at 240, but currently unmotivated to get there.

Current lifts:
Front squat: 245 x5x3 (maybe aim for 275, then maintain)
Bench 225 x5x3 (aim to increase to 275x5x3? idk)
Press 140 x5x3 (maybe aim to increase this a bit, but I don't want to push this too much I feel like it ****s with my neck too much)
Power clean 225 x3x3

Also doing light rack pulls and KB stuff.

I need meditate more, other than that life is good wim etc. k.

Generally felt bad today because I played PLO way too late Fri because I was stuck a bunch and the game was GOAT but I am terrible, then ate crappy the rest of the weekend e.g. a metric ton of Chinese food and beer because I usually make up something in my head like "zomg this is the greatest blahblah blah noodles + byo and I brought good beer" and then I overeat and, not as bad about overdrinking, but also overdrink probably... idk why I do this, it's consistent though. It doesn't make me feel great. Then went out w/ some friends and watched basketball and drank more. Then walked a ton yesterday. Accidentally took a nap from like 7-9 last night, then slept poorly after. Really dumb. gg body.

I've been lifting for like ten years and I still don't know how to even bench. Cool. The benches at this gym are shorter and that sucks. I'll figure it out. Whatever. If I wanted to learn I would have already. Otoh, cognitive dissonance. K.

Right now I'm something like Lao Sze Chuan > Sun Wah when it's not in Health Dep't shutdown (but I mean, all Chinese places are like this I imagine or that's how I justify it) > this Suburban place out by me (Katy's) that's actually a great noodle place that I like more than Potsticker house.

All the (5) platforms and racks were taken, mysteriously all by non-****ery, thanks Internet/Crossfit, so I just staked out some spot on the floor and cleaned and pressed. It's fine. My back doesn't feel 100% anyway, so I didn't really feel like squatting or cleaning anyway, just took it easy.

ohhh I think cf river north (?) or another cf gym used to be in there. God I can't imagine how insufferable it must be to go there, in it's current form. I'd go if they paid me $350/month. Eh. Maybe $500/month.
