Nice shorts, Nice shirt.

Nice bench, I may never bench that much. However, I would recommend that next time you set up prior to unracking the weight.

lol at a 6'6", 245 lb, athletic male being overweight.

Bench isnt too bad. You'll be able to do a lot more if you tighten everything up between your feet and your chest.

DT getting legit swole. I like this workout. Except lol @ db raises, they are totally terrible once you try cable side raises with the cable behind you.

I believe this place was for a short time an official Eleiko facility, subsequently operated by someone else. Idk much about it, but I'd try there first:

The dudes at http://chicagostrength.com/ are cool. I am relatively certain they'd let you lift. That's not too far. If you go there and you see a tall asian dude lifting there that's my good friend, former training partner and erstwhile 2p2er 7ontheline.

Otherwise, I have another friend who lifts at Atlas Crossfit, seems fine. Again, idk much about it. It's a little further away than the above gym.

If you have a car, go west to Sayre Park. It's relatively far. Though that's the place for real lifters.

Also, I have my kids tomorrow or I'd come out. K.

I don't know anything about xfit drop in policies, but there's a box across the street from the new goose island taproom. So maybe that is enticing, if Fredd is a beer person?

Thanks for the suggestions. Sadly I was inundated with family activities and drinking almost constantly and lacked all interest in even lifting. I really want to get back up there to live though... so hopefully I'll get another chance to try these places out.
