Can't believe how emo that thread is. Seems like 20 years ago. I can for sure say that the depression and anxiety are quite a lot better now.
I'm 99% sure I have long covid. Not 100% because I didn't get a test because **** that. I got super sick for 2 weeks in december, sneezing and coughing nonstop. Ever since then, I've felt like I just took a shitton of xanax 24/7. It takes me at least 30 minutes to get out of bed every morning. I get home from work and need to take a 1 hour nap if I want to be able to do anything else the rest of the day. It's been a hellish struggle to do a few bodyweight exercises every other day or so.
Also I'm developing some old man health problems. I got the roids, and not the kind that make your muscles bigger. Anyone have experience with solving that issue? The internet is useless and just says to eat more fiber lol. I've never had problems pooping.
Work is ok, I've been at a restaurant in the gold coast hood for 2 years, but I'm planing to quit soon. There's some things I really like about it and some things I really don't. I have my own pastry station in the basement, which I call the Dessert Dungeon. I get some exercise at work running up and down the stairs 20x/day. The glutes are poppin. Unfortunately, the owner is a clueless yuppie, has no idea how to run a restaurant.
Last summer I started climbing. It's fun and a good workout, although I have zero talent for it. I prefer bouldering, much more fun than the rope nonsense. I wanted to do a v4 before I turned 40, but the long covid squashed that dream pretty hard. I've gone climbing like 3x this year and can't do ****, my limbs feel so heavy.
