This is a log where I log my drinking and lifting and running.

Monday:

Front Squat:

Bench:

Deadlift:

Tuesday:
Tabata sit-ups
3.4 mile run in ~26 minutes.

Wednesday:
Tabata sit-ups

FS:
5x3x275

Press:
3x5x160

Rows:
3x5x160

Pull-ups:
5, 5, 4 +25 lbs.

Drinks on Wednesday:
1 Trappistes Rochefort 10

Thursday:
lol nothing

Friday (today):
Tabata sit-ups

FS:
3x245, 3x255, 3x265, 3x275, 3x285, 1x295, 1x305, 1x315

Bench:
3x5x255
1x280 (this was super easy)

Deadlift:
5x355, 1x385, fx405, 3x315

Drinks:
so far 1 vodka with OJ, grenadine, and club soda. A lot more to come.

There is a pull-up bar in the door frame to the kitchen. Sometimes I will be drinking and knock out some chin-ups.

Last night's tally:
3 of the vodka, OJ, soda, grenadine creations
1 Sam Adams Oktoberfest
2 Yuengling Lights
1 unidentified shot
1 shot of Rumplemintz
1 Budweiser

I also smoked a cigarette. I was not drunk at all. Today there is a home Ohio State game which takes place at night so lots of tailgating opportunities are available. I'm not sure what my plans are.

My buddy got me a free ticket to the game with some ridiculous seats: second row, right by the tunnel of the North end zone. Great game and day in general.

What are your goals with all of this? I cannot tell if you are trying to become a better drinker or cut down on drinking.

There are no drinking goals really. I'd just like to track how much I'm consuming. Staying aware enough to count drinks helps me cut down on drinking I guess. I'm really not a fan of blacking out at this point in my life so I'd like to avoid that as much as possible even though it's a rare occurrence already.

I have an Army PFT on Friday. It's 2 minutes of push-ups, 2 minutes of sit-ups and a 2 mile run.

In August I scored a 266/300 with 76 push-ups, 67 sit-ups, and a 14:27 run. My all time bests in each event are 76, 74, 12:47. I have not done push-ups in a month and I am sore as hell right now, especially my hip flexors. Not going to do anything today or tomorrow except stretch and relax. I'll probably go to the gym after the PFT.

Friday:
PFT:
80 push-ups, 75 sit-ups, 14:02 2 mile run. Good for a 281/300.

After that I went to the gym.

I'm exhausted. No drinking this weekend because I got drill.

Looking at the chart for the pushups the obv strategy is just to do 5 or 6 singles.

You have 2 minutes and you can't rest by putting your knees on the ground. You can sag your hips or flex your back so your butt is in the air, but you can't support your body weight with the ground. 5 push-ups at a time ain't gonna do it. My breakdown was 50-10-10-5-5. Did like 60 in the first minute and grinded out the last 20 in the second minute.

Split for the two mile was 6:40/7:22 which is awful

I hate low bar back squatting but I'm kind of getting worried about quad/hamstring imbalance consider that I also run. I guess another option is to add RDLs. Anyone have thoughts on this?

I wanted to run today but I sprained my ankle at the Converge show. It's about the size of a baseball right now.

I drank instead.

Add another Boatswain IPA to that list from yesterday.

Felt terrible today. Hungover, sick, sore, and just emotionally drained. I went over to my girlfriend's last night, we got in a fight, and I broke up with her.

Today's workout did not go well.

Got some New Balance Minimus Road Zero-drops this morning and took them for a 2.6 mile run. Foot strike is a lot different than my FiveFinger KSOs. Need some time to get used to them.

Also a cycle of Tabata sit-ups and 3x5x+25 chin-ups.

I had to look that up. World record is 5:09 which is crazy. Doesn't really seem that fun.
