Greetings,

I have become a lazy piece of crap. I have not been holding myself accountable for my fitness or my diet. By logging I am hoping to change that. I don't have any specific goals right now, but in a general sense I'd like to do some log-worthy exercise and maintain a caloric deficit for the next 10 days straight.

Also I moved to northern California a couple weeks ago.

Nice to have you back! Are we talking Bay area or JonFonLand?

I also think we're gonna need some stats. I suspect your standard for being lazy is a little different than most. I'm guessing you're sub 180 and probably not that much weaker in the main lifts than when you left.

Now, if you had a YTF like explosion, I'll take it all back. But when guys like you let it go for a while, it's not by much. I'll bet most of S&F would take your current state over where they're at.

However, no matter where you are right now, it's obviously important to meet your personal goals. So log, train, and get at it.

It's ok. Kind of cold here. I might donate my shorts to charity in an attempt to streamline my existence.

Sonoma County.

I'm probably 165#, at a Leigh Peele 15% bodyfat. Likely a sub 1000# total. Cardio is definitely a trainwreck.

As I thought. Can't believe I even thought there was a chance you would be anywhere near 180. Lol, me.

Obviously nothing to be ashamed of, even if it's not peak DFII. I think for most people cardio comes back quicker than strength, so at least you've that that going for you.

He is back!! One of the legends of S&F. The wide back. The cutting and bulking. The fancy play. The knowledge. We would trade Douglas funnie the second any time for thrump. But here we get both.

Day 1 of 10

Signed up for a gym last week. Yesterday was my mandatory session with a personal trainer. Didn't eat much before hand, so workout was needlessly hard. We did a bunch of unilateral and balance oriented stuff, which I was terrible at.

The Boston DF would've written off everything this guy had to say because he definitely couldn't squat 3 plates and his biceps were too big compared to his triceps so he didn't even have solid arm aesthetics. But California DF may pay him to decimate his ego once a week. Not sure yet.

Food yesterday was a bit low; about 1500 calories (40% carbs, 35% protein, 25% fat).

California DF sounds like kind of a douchebag, albeit one with money to burn; congrats on (apparently) being DT rich!

I'm sure we can take DF II out of Boston, but we can't take the Boston out of DF II. I'm sure he will be back to his usual self in no time.

I don't really gamble anymore, but drinking would be good.

Days 4 and 5 of 10

Got sick and moved a ****load of boxes/furniture into the apartment. Deficit was likely significant.

I failed. Diet compliance has been fine, but today was the first day I lifted this week. Exercise motivation has been really lacking; I think I need to just push through it until it becomes routine again.

7-14

Spoto Bench: 155x4x5
Pullups: BWx10x3
Biceps: 4 sets
Triceps: 4 sets
Machine Crunches: 3 sets
