Defining chest shape Defining chest shape

10-31-2009 , 08:51 PM
Hi, I have been working out for about 9 months straight now. I take No-xplode pre workout and take Creatine post workout. I am finding that my lower chest is taking longer to get a defined shape. I was wondering what other work out routines I could do that would be more effective. I usually do every 3 days chest work out (pushups, bench press, inclined bench press, and declined bench press, as well 1 or 2 machines).

Great Routine

OP,

Try this routine. It has a really good chest day to help with your problem. Also has a really good gun day.

that was pretty amazing. worth reading the whole thing.

Leg curls (3 sets of 15-20): These work the back of your quads. A lot of people don’t bother with them, but it’s a little known fact that you can get striations in the back of your quads, too. Just keep it light to work on shape.

Everyday: Abs

Crunches on a ball (5 sets of 100): Get a ball at home so you can dedicate some time to shredding up your abs. Every other set, go side to side so you hit your intercostals and serratus.

Huh? How do you work the quads with leg curls?

I'm assuming the genius who wrote this is refering to the Serratus Anterior which: abducts the scapula at the scapulothoracic joint; depresses the scap at the s/t joint; holds the medial border of the scap against the rib cage; assists in forced exhalation. None of this has to do with ab-work.

I should probably read the link first. I'm going to bed now.

Try some dumbell pullovers after an intense set of squats.

Yes. How can a bunch of half naked muscular guys holding a large shaking phallus be misconstrued as having homosexual undertones?
