The actual poop you take after eating @ 5guys is the waste from a day or more ago not any solids that you ate while there. Liquids can work their way around the fecal matter pretty quickly though. Maybe you actually drink enough liquid while you're eating 5guys. Maybe the grease can get through too and help lubricate?

could def be the drinks, def get crunk off coke zero free refills when im out and my hydration is pretty lackluster otherwise.

While the idea of stuff not passing for days might be true, it doesn't really add up because I eat pretty much the exact same thing 4-6 days in a row so a change right after fast food doesn't jive with that.

that'd be pretty nice. gonna experiment and drink a bunch of water.

Whenever I eat really healthy, (no processed food etc, and alot of veggies) I just have to fart constantly, really really smelly ones and then when I just eat **** I'm fine (minus beer hangover)

Could be an adjustment period but it could be some food intolerance. I find red potatoes give me hellacious gas whereas gold potatoes do not. Red potatoes are better though.

The mashed taters I made were with red but peeled and they've been fine so it's probably just the skin anyway.

Brussel sprouts give me insane gas about 3-5 hrs after eating them. I'm trying to eat more so that hopefully I get used to them. I think it's working.

Eating certain foods will trigger a response to go, and go NOW. That's why laxatives work. It doesn't much matter what has been sitting in your gut, eat a food with a laxative effect or that triggers a bowel response and you've gotta go.

Cruciferous vegetables. You aren't digesting them, you are fermenting them. Cabbage farts are bad yo.

things that make you fart lots are swallowing air and certain foods. I fart a lottt, I think the first part is the culprit for me. When I was a kid I could burp really, really long(12-15 seconds consistently, we timed them) and I got in the habit of swallowing huge amounts of air whenever I drank stuff to burp more, and now I have no idea to stop it.

The other which is prob a bigger contributing factor for everyone.

The smell comes from sulfur, things high in protein.


It's pretty bad sometimes. Like, even walking past the stairs to my room I can smell toxic air. Blech.

It is a solid burn, but I had to defend 5 Guys because I was sitting in a 5 Guys when I read that. FWIW, my bunless bacon cheeseburger is 660 cals (44 p, 53f, 1c) and delicous. Not as delicious as it'd be with bun and an order of fries, but gotta do what I gotta do.

Guys, guys, guys, there is no such thing as "eating healthy" as a definitive meaningful statement. When do you notice this KPowers? Eating a bunch more veggies, raw veggies, high amounts of lean meats, diet low in fat?

I dno, it's all probably fairly irrelevant unless you're tracking your meals and poops very carefully together. Ain't nobody got time for that 'cept maybe saw imo. Just await his treatise on the subject once he sees this discussion and goes "oh snap, gotta start charting that, it'd be the SHIIIT!"

I farted in the power cage today. It was so stinky that I told the guy in the squat rack next to me that I farted.
