I noticed some of you delicate bros were complaining about calluses earlier.

Jason Blowhard just posted something about them... I probably wont watch it. I don't get calluses even when I do even lift. strapz i guess.

I received this as a gift today (long story) but it was pretty omnomon:

On the right is tuna poke with fresh jalapeño

Not exactly sure what was on the left. It had salmon, jalapeño, tuna, bacon, cream cheese, eggs, some kinda sauce.

All pretty danged awesome

True story: When I was 21 I partied at both (yes both, the ones across the street from each other) bars in Garberville.

And by partied I mean that we all had a few beers at both bars and we are all super light weights.

My friends brother was the regional manager of Humboldt Hydroponics at the time. Maybe still is?

Haha. The pounds of 'pot' story is funny. I'm sure it was all garbage and stems and stuff.

I mean, chopping 10 handed sounds super lol BUT:

It wouldn't surprised me if the structure was awful and everyone had like 4 BBs. Then it would make more sense to chop.

The tournaments at my work are regularly chopped multi-way for a few reasons: There's always a significant amount of added money, nobody wants to be the dick who says no to a chop (its happened but its rare. Everyone is really friendly), and people are usually itching to go ram-n-jam the 2-5 game where the action is usually poppin off.

Damn I just found out I haven't seen a lot of movies from the rotten tomatoes Top100 yet. It's completely different from the imdb one. Looks really promising. Toy Story though? What's up with that?

Pretty sure the Toy Story trilogy is the highest rated trilogy of ALL TIME.

I usually Rotten Tomato, but only as guidelines.

I usually end up agreeing with the % that the movie gets. I think the best use of it is where you see an ad for a movie and think, 'well hmmm that could go either way.' Look it up on RT and see 89% then I'll usually check it out.

I find metacritic to be superior to rotten tomatoes and imdb.

I'm definitely a huge movie review whore. I remember being excited to see man of steel when if came out. Oh it got a 60? Yeah I'll pass

Ya'll are kind of rustling my jim jams a bit here. No good trees grow in texas and ya'll are splitting up wood I'd pay good money for in lumber. Around here the predominant tree is Live Oak which is pretty much **** plus junk trees like mesquite and what not which are fine for BBQ and fence posts but that's about it. I visited someone in NE and their firewood was mother ****ing maple. Sure, let's throw $100 on the fire.

(ETA: Ash is not a really desirable wood but it's fine and it goes for the base hardwood price around here, I guess like $2-4/sqft at 1". A single log section you'd split into firewood is prob, I dunno, 40 bucks?)

I have 25 acres and about 60-70% of the trees are green ash. It burns about as well as pin oak and shingle oak (the only oak species that grow on my property) and splits much easier, so that's what I'm predominately going with. It only costs me my own labor and fuel and oil for the chainsaw and tractor.
