I don't think it is a problem to weigh yourself every day. Habits can be good, you seem to be in good spirits at least partially due to the developments of your new habits* and you seem fairly unlikely to catch a case of anorexia nervosa.
Typing in your daily weigh-in results probably doesn't make for good reading, but it isn't like it is going to bother anyone and it does add some vague form of accountability that just might help you to maintain your new habits.
As an aside, my BMI is a little bit lower today due to the fact that I am about 1/2" taller due to the blisters*** from the long walk I took.
As healthful activities for the day, I did some very light weight lifting and for aerobic conditioning I whined extensively about how much my feet, ankles and my other parts hurt from my walk. Four hours of whining burns a surprisingly large number** of calories.
