It has come to this: I'm taking a walk for about 30 minutes in weekdays and 2x30 minutes during weekend days. Wonder when I will hit the gym next time? Anyhow really feeling I'm needing the exercise, and enjoy the nice views during the summer.

It has been a challenging time at the office, "24/7" trying to figure out the best moves, what to do and equally importantly what not to. The sleeping pattern has been thereafter, but I can sleep as well during day as night so big deal, think I have got a suitable total in. Came out with my point made and comparatively unhurt, so time to take it easy!

189.2 this morning. Went out last night, so I am pretty dehydrated.

I think that is about as light as I got when I was more actively trying, so I'm good with it

Was 80.1kg myself an hour ago. Had a big pizza during the weekend, (but just one of the days). And then some. When 81.1 yesterday was left with a question mark, now straightened out.

You just compensate by eating slim food most of the time, or most importantly, eating nothing.

Since 9 September 79.9kg-81.1kg. Could lose maybe half a kilogram, just for not having to lose a whole one later. I should probably not start gaining some weight when having those 79.x kilograms, rather wait for even one 78.x kg, the goal being 80(.0) on average.

80.2kg. Ate almost a whole big pizza yesterday. The thing is I didn't eat much else. Have my VLCD smoothies 3+2 a day, which should give everything I need except calories (600 cal in total). In principle I can eat whatever. The veggies took me here, but I feel now it's possible to just have that calorie math for more flexibility.

My inner rebellion is taking the best of me. But maybe I can afford it? Read somewhere it takes two years for the body to get used to a new weight, and now I'm approaching one and a half. So complemented my pizza diet with a couple of beers (of course NA though, no way I'm gonna screw THAT up). At some point your mind is screaming for variation, and then all you can do is trying to stay around that 2000 cal daily mark.

Ultimately the scale tells how it is. And that's got to have the priority. Getting a little more salt now and then: ok. Gaining weight: not ok.

Think it's time to start switching to gym time, walks in the cold and rain aren't as pleasurable as they were in the summer light. Found they have opened a gym of the same chain one subway station away, maybe will go there even this weekend.

80.2kg. Hadn't weighed myself the standardized way in almost two weeks, got a bit alarmed yesterday when the non-standardized way was a bit high. But looks I'm alright.

Yes, losing weight in the beginning is easy

The day before yesterday: 81.7kg, yesterday 81.0, now 80.2. Wonder what my real weight is, achieved this by putting in effort after all. Let me guess: 80.65kg . Need continue dieting...otherwise may be in for the tougher trip I know easily is ahead.

Still haven't found my way to the gym btw . Looks the only reliable exercise is me walking to and from the subway working days. Outside it's dark and rainy, great inspiration for taking a weekend walk...

The thing is I've been gaining weight. So it's the veggies again, and will try to roughly calculate I'm comfortably under 2000 cal daily. Even plan to burn 100 cal through exercise...

This month I've been 81.7-81.0-80.2-80.2-81.4-81.9kg, the last one being the highest since I don't know when, over a year? Last time the weight started with a 7 was in September. So the first goal is getting a 79.x

82.0kg, even broke that barrier. A little explanation is it's very early in the morning. But now it's the direction that matters. Ate a lot, meaning really a lot of vegetables yesterday. Landed surely below 2000 cal. Also took a walk, will try to continue the exercise, both for "strength" and those bonus burned calories.

80.8kg. Think I was below 2000 cal, not entirely sure. From earlier experience the mindset is important though, you are pushing the limits here and there, allow yourself to be just a bit hungry, at least relatively avoid high calorie content nutrients (candy), more of low (veggies). And follow your weight.

So the first goal is getting even one measurement below 80.0kg. What then? Frankly I'm not sure. Maybe just eyeballing the list and try to get 79kgs and 80kgs about even? So for example:
  • No 79kgs (or below) the last week or two? Eat a bit less.
  • No 80kgs (or above) the last week or two? Eat a bit more.

Feeling I'm approaching the weigh losing mode, already should be some real 100 grams. The latest kgs are:
81.0
81.4
81.3
80.8

Even this project is more than "nothing". I'm trying to find the easiest way for keeping the weight and also reporting. It may indeed be just seeing a somewhat equal number of weights starting with a 7 and a 8. Then there may not be even one kg to lose (or gain) at any given time. Really small corrections would be ideal, without going nuts about it.

Have you tried growing an unruly mustache? It makes it difficult to eat, I've found.

I've been exercising more. The mustache hasn't helped with that.

My stubble is too short for that.

So far my efforts really don't show up in the numbers:

80.8
81.6
80.9
81.4kg

Maybe starting to use the blues and reds again can help?

Green and red would be more effective.

A-ha-ha-ha

Why not? Could use green until going below 80. Then it becomes the "neutral" blue again...

I'd avoid blue altogether. It is the color of complacency.
