Just weighed 81.7kg. A flu started three days ago, let myself eat as much as I pleased, and it was quite much, you never know if that kick can help bit. Now feeling clearly better, so it's time to look after the weight. Here we come, 80kg!
Think I have started regular exercise today. Found a semi-circular way to walk, takes about 20 minutes from the front door. Earlier I have walked more or less to a point and back, that can be boring. When you go circular, you can choose direction between two different, and you don't have to walk the same bit twice during one walk. Will report how this turns out!
Just came back from the daily walk. Think I will keep to it permanently "needed or not", you never know which of the good things that will benefit you most. During weekend days I may take two walks?
Yesterday evening ate a mixture of nuts with chocolate of close to 1000 cal in maybe half an hour. The most important lesson learned this short weight losing time is not to eat that kind of high density calorie stuff so often, then it shouldn't be a problem.
I'm into daily weighing again, my new diet makes that necessary, and only by regular measures you get some control of variance and can do things methodically. 81.5kg today. Do aim for 80 flat, as usual.
Keeping up the walking, weight stable. Think I have gained some energy aging is taking away.
Two years and three months to retirement at 61. Decision has hold up for a year. Definitively workable to burn candle in both ends and hopefully keeping up relatively well until the last day at work, 29 March 2024.
Weight is climbing, 83.0 kg today. Have eaten nuts-raisins-chokolate as low salt products, but their calorie density simply is too high, so will cut them mostly off. More veggies and fruit in, and will have more of my self cooked almost salt free rice-pasta-meat-fish meals.
Some kind of fasting is going on. I just postpone eating the best I can. One of the methods in the pack. Would say Christmas-New Year gave one kg, maybe not that unusual?
82 flat, yes I guess the era of 81 will start. Good to remember to check the weight at least around Christmas in the future. Maybe I could lose one kilogram per month now, at least a half?
Have weighed myself five times this month, three out of five start with 81. So no backlash so far, not just any fast reduction, but kind of like it that way. At least not going up must be the main goal.
Hi, think I'm back! In a perfect world I would participate regularly, but you know how it can be. This thread though is the one shortcutted when I open 2+2, which as life goes on has seen less of plaaynde, for good or for worse. Not actively playing poker may contribute...
First off I'm still sober, liking NA beers. Taking a walk practically every day. But need to watch the weight, once again. I (hopefully) maxed at 85.7kg yesterday after a week of inactivity and eating during a flu. Really got motivated. Cut down eating, think vegetables will be the thing, and today it's 84.8kg, nice, apparently at least lost some fluid. I may continue until the weight once or twice is below 80kg.

Today 83.9kg, kickstart, as often. The pace will slow down by itself. Will report new lows, maybe spare you from all the other weights this time, planning to check daily.
